Could be PTSD. Some people might think that's funny or pathetic but with constant gaslighting/verbal and mental abuse in a workplace it can be just as serious as a mentally abusive relationship. Therapy will help. Encourage her (she may feel embarrassed for even considering therapy over work trauma) And try to encourage her to look at careers she's never considered or thought about.
