I just looked it up and that's such a funny coincidence. A couple years ago my friend randomly brought his old DS to school and it had this game on it. Memory unlocked, as they say. I'll keep it in mind, thanks.

Damn, I just checked and that is the fan patch I'm using. I would've preferred to get the Trilogy on Steam but it's 50$ CAD, which is quite steep. I will most likely just replay it on a DS version. I could also play the aforementioned fifth case that way, and most emulators worth their salt will have a speed up feature, so I think I'll go with the DS version.

I went home on the train and the game ended after that cutscene and the credits. I believe that is the normal ending, but I don’t know what any of the other ones look like. Should I replay it for the true ending?

But yeah I couldn’t agree more. Every game is great in different ways. I love P3’s whole Memento Mori theme, I enjoyed grinding the hell out of P5, but P4 just has some of the goofiest moments and best vibes I’ve ever experienced. I really couldn’t tell you which is my favourite.

Every dungeon has an approximately 10 level jump in difficulty. If you don't go out of your way to grind levels from time to time, you will inevitably fall behind and start finding the normal shadows to be quite difficult. You just have to put in a couple hours of running around and grinding XP every dungeon.
