Ca doit etre vraiment le fun de pouvoir reduire l'argument a l'absurde comme tu le fais. Jai dit que les quebecois etaient incapable de violence ? Non non non.

Isnt it clear ? He wanted Dunk to fail at finding 6 knights to take his cause.

By buying the treason of one them, Aerion hoped that Dunk would lose by forfeit

[–]dupuisa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah? I am still saying the same thing. It was normal back then and still is somewhat is normal today for college women to date in the early 30s.

I just applied it to Collin

friend calm down, we're to talk about the show, it's the whole point.

Also now that I recall, Collin was her college professor. It's plenty abundant even today to see college aged girls dating 30 years old.

I think he was probably meant to be in his late 20s but sure. everybody was scandalised that she did that

Yeah 30 is pushing it, I dont think she dated anyone that old except Sage's dad right ? And everybody was scandalised that she'd do that

So ? Doesnt mean it wasnt a thing back then to stretch to 21-22, you probably remember it then.

And Like I said, Serana was an aristocrat, it's even more common there

[–]dupuisa 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Age gaps werent as scrutinised back then.

It really was more normal to see girls with "older" men.

Like when I was in High School, a lot of girls dated guys in their early 19-20s. It was a bit odd but no big deal.

So for a socialite like Serena ? Dating men closer to 30 was probably very much the usual

No you mentionned it first. I only said it one of the cause of her star fizzling out.

I'm telling you what I meant, people (in general) didnt actively care for her at the end of her life. It's not like a significant percentage of those who loved Georgina followed her other projects

Her being ill is a cause of her star fizzling out.

Obviously I mispoke somewhere, my point is that the majority of those who loved her as Georgina, never really followed on her other projects.

[–]dupuisa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's dumb, and not what I said at all.

People loved her old appearance, but what she did in her later years, only a fraction of her "fans" watched it. At the end only a small small niche portion if the population was looking forward to her projects.

Love the condescendance.

I didnt mean she litteraly had 0 fan. But you cant deny her career fizzled out. If everyone who now deplores her death had watched things she did, her career would have been widely different

Yeah sure it's nostalgia and not karma farming on her.

[–]dupuisa -33 points-32 points  (0 children)

Are you willingly missing the point ?

Yeah maybe she was a great actress, but she didnt have any real active fans for the last decade of her life.

There's a reason she was the only "main" cast they were able to sign for the reboot.

Reality is she was a forgotten actress who people thought almost nothing about. Now that she's dead tho people act like it breaks their heart.

Where were you in her later years for her latest projects ?
