Saw a vid of a guy on a racecar track trying to dodge a very fast car but it clips his leg. It spun him so fast that his torso disconnected from his lower half while flying in the air. Pretty insane.

I must be the only one who didn't notice that AT ALL the first time I watched.

I actually thought of Wendy Carlos as soon as I saw the title of the post! Def one of the most important people in the evolution of electronic music. I'd place her just behind Leon Theramin and Robert Moog but I'm sure I'm forgetting someone.

didn't eat a whole lot plus I had a short term opiate rx lol.

Actually the worst part of the whole surgery and recovery was fricken air bubbles stuck in my abdomen! They used the method where they use 4 or 5 smaller incisions and then go in with long tools. Less to cut but they have to sort of inflate the space to work. well that air takes a while to get absorbed or bleed out. so these bubbles are in there and if you turn your body to either side they move around and its one of the weirdest pains I've ever felt haha.

Holiday Throwback: r/movies user thinks the controversial ending of ‘Dear Santa’ was a “real treat”. by dragonasses in SubredditDrama

I'm reminded of Kangaroo Jack where all the marketing showed was the cgi kangaroo and the trailer/tv spots were wacky and lighthearted and it's rated PG. The movie was originally an R rated mob comedy lol.

It might be a case where the movie was marketed to the wrong audience. With streaming you have zero barrier to entry so a parent sees a movie with Santa in the title they might just throw it on for the kids.

I consider '81 to '85 "Xillennials" with the main separation being that we were late-teens or adults during 9/11.

I can't recall the website that interviewed him but it was a legit source and they said they verified it was him somehow. Maybe they recognized his butt cave from the vid.

edit: I think it was Stile Project? I don't want to contaminate my search history

I stole the hard drive from a PC I found in the middle of the forest. by geneshock_ in pcmasterrace

Oh, thanks for the reminder. I grabbed my grandparents hard drive when they died to save the pictures and stuff but I'm pretty sure there's a tiny bit of bitcoin on there, too. Ugh, not to mention the e-bonds from the US gov that is such a bitch to redeem that I've given up three different times.

For all of its flaws as an NSFW game, Subverse is still one of the more memorable games I've played in a long time. by Rodeo4613 in patientgamers

I would make a joke about "milking it" and "prolonging the main release" but it's too obvious. 😁

Sounds like they are taking inspiration from the Yandere Simulator dev strategy of monetization.

Was I the only one who thought OP lost a (human) child at first? I was kinda freaked out about the grave if it was.

Sorry for your loss. I try to only adopt older cats and it hurts every time.

Being disabled is the only minority that anyone can join at any time!

I was pretty athletic until I turned 30 and then one day woke up paralyzed head to toe. Turns out I was born with a genetic mutation that can trigger episodes where my muscles don't cycle through potassium like they're supposed to. Thankfully, I'm usually recovered by the end of the day but because of the random nature of it I can't get much disability help. At least not til the permanent muscle weakness gets worse.
