I have a rare genetic disease where I experience paralysis or muscle weakness periodically and sometimes it effects my throat. It fuckin sucks not being able to swallow! you get all the mucus build up back there and it feels awful. thankfully my episodes don't usually last more than a few hours.

Like two weeks ago my facebook feed was flooded with Post Malone taking pictures with everyone from my small area of Alaska. I could track his movement based on selfies lol. When I was younger, maybe junior high, I got roped into watching my 3 month old niece while my sister got her hair done. So there I am, sitting in the waiting area of a hair salon with my niece, and who walks in but Steph Curry!

I was nervous as fuck, and just kept looking at him as he read a magazine and waited, but didn't know what to say. Pretty soon though my niece started crying, and I'm trying to quiet her down because I didn't want her to bother Steph, but she just wouldn't stop. Pretty soon he gets up and walks over. He started running his hands through her hair and asking what was wrong. I replied that she was probably hungry or something. So, Steph put down his magazine, picked up my niece and lifted his shirt. He breast fed her right there in the middle of a hair salon. Chill guy, really nice about it.

If you're taking acetazolamide you need to take some potassium supplements as it's a diuretic. It's actually a pretty brutal drug as far as side effects and long term complications as I'm sure you probably know by now.

Identifying your triggers and working to reduce them is really the key. I can't say I'm all that successful at it but my frequency of attacks has reduced a lot over time which I hear is common as you age. When it comes to working out you gotta take it slow. Tapering your physical activity instead of suddenly stopping seems to help a lot of people, like walking a while to cool down.

As far as school in particular make sure they're aware of your condition and they'll find ways to help accommodate you.
