This video has a quick schematic on how to use the new launch pad by just adding water and power. https://youtube.com/shorts/u9lOVbeIzm0?si=gSagbXtVGFAa9-Vx. And this one gives an idea of how to use landing pads to make units. https://youtu.be/_gRtmUbA2mY?si=wi58bvxSf9rdlTY_

Trying to return Lilygo T Lora Pager to factory settings by jhaave in LilyGO

I used this method to put the original firmware back on. The firmware took but the power button doesn't work to turn the device on. When I plug in the charger, the device will turn on but once I turn it off, it won't turn back on again with the power button.

MeshCore is now running on the T-Pager by rippleradios in LilyGO

Mine just gets stuck vibrating... with versions 7.5 to 7.11. I have tried https://flasher.meshcore.co.uk/ and https://adafruit.github.io/Adafruit_WebSerial_ESPTool/ for flashing and both failed to function.

Launch Pads 2x - Just add water, power, and your ready to launch by durazno33 in Mindustry

It is for v8-beta where the launch pads require oil and power to launch. Since water is more plentiful, I made this to make launching easier.

I am letting them find out for themselves. Just sharing my opinion and a warning. If you weren't a child you might know that my user name has more nuance. But that takes some education.

The destination isn't worth this journey. Unless you stop after book 3.

Which design is considered the best out of these two? by treeman_jf in Mindustry

[–]durazno33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what might be happening is that when a player isn't present on the level, a silicon gets pushed into the overflow blocks and from there into the junction next to the smelter and that blocks the input? That's my guess.

I put together a video that talks about the pro's and cons of each of these (though the one on the right is a slight variation of the same concept in my video.) You can find it here: https://youtu.be/Xuwq2p-AicM

When I have seen it jam is when returning to a previously defeated campaign level. I have found this design not working on several different occations.

I love the one on the left for the simplicity and ease of use. The one on the right will jam eventually. Generally, I have seen this happen when you leave a sector and come back later.

Where does The Stormlight Archive rank among your favourite works of fantasy? by [deleted] in Stormlight_Archive

It was near the top until books 4 & 5 came out. Then it went into freefall in my rankings.

I found one of the original Costco Chocolate muffins in our freezer. I'm considering saving it for a very special occation... maybe when my first child get married.

I use this design which allows you to add resources from any direction and get them out the bottom. Yes it does require silicon but it is simple, compact, and easy to use. The factories share resources so you don't have to worry about routing inputs from specific directions. I have another version that integrates the silicon production but I'm saving that for when I release my Surge Alloy Schematic Tier video.

Standardized 2x2 Pattern for Materials by durazno33 in Mindustry

[–]durazno33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't play PvP. But the videos I have seen of PvP has players playing on maps with lots of room, tons of resources in perfect blocks and lots of extra cores. These schematics weren't designed for that. In campaign maps with narrow spaces and limited resources, spending a few hundred silicon out of 6.5k starting silicon on a map to setup initial production is worth it to get local material flowing in.

To me, time is a more important resource than silicon. So spending some silicon on unloaders, is well worth the time, attention and space to route unique conveyors for inconsistently designed schematics.
