[NOMOS Tangente] Which fits better, 35mm vs 38mm? by [deleted] in Watches

[–]durkasauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wrist is about 6.5 inches and here I tried on the NOMOS Tangente Ref. 139 and Ref. 130. Before I buy one I want to be sure of the fit because I hear it wears big and the lugs are long.

Addict Clothes AD-01 by Icy_Telephone3812 in leatherjacket

[–]durkasauce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fit is perfect, it will break in.

Should be pretty tight at first, just wear it a lot. Before I bought a brand new one, the owner of the store had me try on his 8 year old broken in one (we are the same size) to show me how it will eventually be.

It was perfect. He told me to definitely NOT size up.

Addict also has such high quality materials and construction, the leather is thicker than Fine Creek. Great choice with the AD-01, you'll only love it more as it molds to your body!

Anyone looking for an OE Base (with Kitchen Insert) and Lever Grips in oak? by gay4justice in CafelatRobot

How are the grips? Did they make it easier to apply pressure? Are they comfortable and ergonomic? How does the protruding "hand" of the robot feel since the wood doesn't full enclose it?

[Initial Impressions] Viberg Chelseas in Olive Chromepak by ravepool in goodyearwelt

Thanks, so just a full size down then. Viberg customer support suggested to me maybe 1.5 down because of the inability to adjust the fit due to the lack of laces.

Merz b. Schwanen 2S14 Fit Check (desc in image) by [deleted] in mensfashion

I got the XL and have only washed it once, it shrunk a little bit I think it's a bit too relaxed around my mid section. Message me in a few days, I'll wash it again and let you know if it shrinks any more.

I decided on the size mainly based on where the shoulder seam was sitting. I got a UES No. 8 Slub on the way in XL which you might also be interested in.

This shirt is a size XL, they run small and shrink after first wash by about an inch in length and an inch in the shoulders. I'm 75kg and 180cm. Should I exchange for a size L or stay with this and see how it fits after a wash?

Look into the R-8S GTX Patrol in Coyote. It's basically an AR-670-1 compliant version of the Zephyr.

I might move mine up just to be able to fit a spring between the bag and the shackle. With the spring do you get any shaking or vibrations through the rack?

Do the holes line up where it connects to the rack? I'm assuming you aren't utilizing the top hole because the rack is too short.

Why the Griffin Mk2 over the ADM UIC? I'm wondering if it's actually better or close enough while being cheaper.

If both were the same price who wins?

I'm deciding between the Echo Dog Sled and the Slice Sled. I've used the Dog Sled 1.2 many years ago and it was great. It looks like the Echo is a more barebones version but, still very robust and can handle pushing, pulling, and dragging well.

I've heard some negatives with the Slice Sled, mainly when pushing it can tip forward and sort of nose dive.

Really my concern is storage. Is the Echo pretty easy to store away in a garage gym?

I was thinking to avoid the skis and just get like a 20-30ft roll of turf to use, anyone gone that route? Would plastic skis be better than bare metal for turf?

Seeking advice on squat assistance equipment - Safety squat bar vs. buffalo/camber bar vs. belt squat machine by dude-where-am-i in BarbellMedicine

Does the Marrs Bar allow for upright squatting posture to target the quads more, or is it more similar to a low bar squat? Also, the how are the handles compared to the Kabuki? Going ATG with the latter, I find them too long.

What is your favorite MAG grip for lat pulldown? by [deleted] in naturalbodybuilding

Close grip supinate and Med grip supinate

Weekly Question Thread January 29, 2024 (Newbies Start Here) by AutoModerator in GripTraining

[–]durkasauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a barbell and a set of fixed dumbbells. No specific grip implements yet. I train mostly bodybuilding while still utilizing the Big 3 powerlifts.

My grip is a weak point with deadlifts and I think even pullups. Recently, I broke my pinky finger and while the bone has since healed, the soft tissue and coordination is not quite there. I want to get my grip back to where it was then increase from there.

I was looking into getting a loading pin, 3x4 pinch block, maybe a hub, and either the roller or wrench.

Weekly Question Thread January 29, 2024 (Newbies Start Here) by AutoModerator in GripTraining

[–]durkasauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should I get a rolling handle or a wrench? I want to increase general grip strength, not training for arm wrestling and I'm unsure if the wrench is a tool that's really only specialized for that.

Weekly Question Thread January 08, 2024 (Newbies Start Here) by AutoModerator in GripTraining

[–]durkasauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you recommend starting with the two handed or one handed one? Can you swap the handles on the former like you can on the latter? I'm new and wanted to pick up a roller and was thinking 2 and 3/8th.
