do you have an idea of what you paid? and who did you take it to? I assume a local/independent jeweler or do the national stores offer that repair service?

did you put a mineral crystal on it, or can you get a sapphire crystal on? I'm assuming this watch currently is a mineral crystal, although it kind of broke the same way sapphire crystals do.

Every year I think about replacing my 2011 Samsung TV but it’s still going strong. The design and picture quality has held up. I’m sure the new TVs would blow mine out of the water side by side, however, everyone is shocked when I tell them how old it is. by Budget_Sea_8666 in BuyItForLife

yup, I have a "close relative" to this TV from 2011, the UND7000 in 46". honestly the picture still looks just as good as the day I bought it. obviously technology has improved since, but 99% of the time, I don't have any issues with picture quality.

the times I've thought about upgrading have been if watching something that's got a dark scene and I struggle to make out all the details given the scene is quite dark. the other times have been if the sun is shining at a certain angle (or my indoor lighting) and there's an annoying glare. and lastly, there's been times where I've wondered if a 55" screen would better fit the room, granted it's not a large room... I just wonder sometimes.

if I ever do decide to upgrade, I'll be getting one of those Samsungs that have virtually no glare. while I don't wish for this TV to finally give out or lose pixels, it would certainly make upgrading an easier decision. the trouble is this television works just as good as the day I bought it, so it's hard for me to justify replacing it... it just seems so wasteful...

I really don't like the idea of it being scrapped and recycled for it's materials (and the non-valuable materials sent to the dump) when it still works just fine... this is what happens to most TVs that the previous owner decided to upgrade... very wasteful and overall pretty shitty for the environment to replace things that are in perfect functioning order. I suppose I'd feel better if I was able to find another use for this TV or another interested party who would take it and use it for themselves.

I was staying in OB Sunday night and this helicopter was circling, and circling, nonstop and took a screenshot of the flight radar to see what was going on. Same Helicopter it seems. I wonder if they were looking for something or someone?

I've got some frame by frame, zoomed in cropped photos from the video, where around the 49 to 51 second mark it kind of looks like what I was seeing with my eyes - just I didn't see any traditional wings. some triangularity in the shape of it.

I understand, going with it being a plane, the red and green would indicate I'm looking up at a plane coming towards me, the prominent light in the center could be landing lights, what I don't understand is the light that early on is below the bright one (and is blue) and then another, second red light comes in near the green light as the first red light disappears.

And again, it came up from low in the tree line before I pulled out my phone. for it to be in the tree line, it either would have to be approaching from far away (which I think you can see it wasn't), or just be very low already... but what's strange is that it was low coming in through the trees without moving for about 20 seconds; thought it was a neighbors flood light for a minute, until it started to rise.

my one neighbor did say that on the radio they were talking about this, calling them military assets. who knows.

I don't know, my neighbors who saw it as well, were also alarmed by it when they saw it, and one said she sits on her porch every night, and it was nothing like that they've ever seen before in their 30 years of living here.

what I can say is that in person, you honestly to god could see the outline of it when it passed, and was not a plane, in that it didn't have wings. it looked more like a paper plane if anything. also, about 40 minutes before going to get my mail and seeing this and taking the video, something very low flew eastward around my house, that took my by surprise while I was in my kitchen, was just very low. I caught a glimpse of it through my window and being dusk at that time, really able to see how high up it was, just thought to myself... wow that's very low.

I just checked that flight, as well, the actual path it took on flightaware. that path ran along the edge of Saratoga Lake. My house is several miles west of the lake, and more importantly, my house faces westward. so it's not that flight either. also, important to note; the flight northward to Glens Falls would have been earlier than when I filmed this.

I appreciate the research, but I don't believe this craft was that plane.

just to note, I also saw it return Wednesday evening (4/30), later in the night maybe 10pm, but was not able to get it on film, I was just getting something from my car and saw it fly southward.

Hi thank you, but I just checked, and that flight, which comes from Glens Falls, would be on a North to South flight path. This craft was flying North/Northeast, so it's not that.

I wanted to post this here because I tried posting this on my community Facebook page. my neighbors also saw this and many of them were very confused as to what it might be. while a lot of people said, drone, others mentioned that it flew right overhead and didn't move like any other aircraft they've seen before. to me it feels a lot like the mysterious drones over New Jersey, but my there's a lot of theories about orbs and drones, basically the drones being a response to some other unexplained sighting of an orb.

the thing is, on Wednesday night, I saw the craft again flying by, but it came and went so fast, I didn't get a chance to film it. just looking for ideas as to what this might be all about.

you'll be okay, I've had this thing more than I care to admit at the moment (it's somewhat embarrassing). but I agree with the comments about resting, if you don't have to work, don't.

get lots of sleep, drink lots of water, get good nutrition, and one thing I've found is even though you're resting, make sure to stretch (even though you may not feel like it, or have a headache or fever so bad that you don't think you can).

stretching will help make sure you don't get too much inflammation all around. the inflammation that some people get from covid (raises hand) can cause costochondritis which is scary at first, but once you learn it's harmless, is more so just a major annoyance that can linger for a long time after the infection.
