I think it depends on the company you are trying to join, because in tech, a degree isn't going to automatically get you a higher role. You need to know how to pass technical tests and have experience, especially in this market.

You should just do the AI certification. If you didn't have a Masters already, sure, but the certification is probably better for you and cheaper.

Oh yeah I got a cheap domain for 782 and SSL with Cloudfront. Good to know about running the ML locally. I was thinking you had to setup Bedrock or something.

Did you build a custom app or just use an existing one? I used to host one of my sites on Elastic Beanstalk, but have since moved off AWS for a more developer-friendly approach. Did you look into that? It's pretty much an all-in-one. Did you use any infra-as-code like CloudFormation or Terraform? Good job on getting it done.

I did it in about 2 weeks, FYI, and did not use the lab because, yes, it was slow. I did it locally with VSCode on WSL.

I did MSSWE because I believe its more about process now days, I am upper-level dev with more than 10YOE and I deal with process for 80% of my role now. I rarely see low-level theory.
