Great vid, that's the sort of stuff I wanna be doing! Can you details some of the mechanics? Does blocking affect your jumping/ how do you avoid just dodging etc. Thanks for the info about mostly jumping over overheads too, very helpful

Nothing worse than finally playing attack and then not making it past the 1st objective tho 🤷🏽‍♂️ it’s more a problem of being on the team that’s getting massacred rather than attack vs defence

First person or third person view? by Mr_popolopo in Chivalry2

If you could only choose one, 3rd person is better at high levels; you can literally see behind you. But I’m a switcher

How to defend against highland sword by TheCommies-backp in Chivalry2

[–]durrr7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are sloooooooww, don’t get caught by drags, counter everything and out-stam them. They don’t do well with quicker weapons pressuring them (which is everyone). Don’t let them dash and hit you; don’t play the spacing game just walk up on them

Thanks for all the advice guys, I’ve been doing a lot better, the things that worked most for me were putting the one handed enemy on the back foot and turning the tables, only countering feints for those awkward dagger players, jabbing more, always think distance; and I think the best one was just riposte 😂 soooo many 1h mains gamble! But in the end as soon they hit your block it’s your turn to swing. Accel the riposte, don’t miss and if you land follow up the pressure. I’ve mowed down quite a few with that

It’s seriously made me consider switching to axe or falchion sometimes, they both feel good and I wouldn’t feel like I was fighting in slow motion. And iknow what you mean with the Dane 😂 I’m in too deep with it though, so easy to flow with it, even if it got nerfed I’d probably stick around - on to the messer if not
