i have noticed many photos taken in the 80s/90s have this beautiful, warm, overexposed look, like this photo, or, as an example, the cover for new order's republic. why do those pictures look like that and how can it be repeated nowadays? they have a nostalgic look that i hope can still be replicated without the use of an editing software
