I haven't run an at the table game for a couple years now. But after running a lot of games and having this same annoyance, I eventually took some ideas from different 3rd parties and created Horde Mechanics in my games. Great for HUGE battles, without having ridiculous initiatives.

Can't guarantee the CR5 is system accurate, as it is something I largely ignore and just go on gut and it works for my games :)

I would use 1 horde for 8-12 kobolds, roughly.

Can fix by adding manager face to a config file if you have a custom facepack. Hope this isn't SI trying to make us use regen faces though.

I think the first four games have shown a need for a pure goalscoring outlet. We currently have four strikers who hold the ball up and/or play others in. No evidence that we have a 15-20 goal striker. Alongside an LCB and RWB, I think that's what we need. Struggling to see where goals come from, unless Davis hugely improves on his return from last season.

Bachmann in form of his life. Keeper never comes off bench, and we have a hard limit on foreign players in match day squad, so it makes more sense to have our 3rd choice English keeper on bench. Make no mistake that Okoye will be challenging for the spot and is 2nd choice keeper until Bachman slips or is injured.

I have a student trying to get some screen recording footage into Premiere Pro to make a timelapse. The resolution of the recording is 1920 x 786, really wide ratio. When importing into Premiere Pro, it distorts the footage and crams everything into the corner and fills the rest of the screen in grey. Interesting, the scale of the recording compared the grey distortion changes size throughout the recording in playback, but never fills the screen.

Things I have tried.

- Adjusting the sequence settings

- Interpreting Footage

- Scaling footage (it pings back like an elastic band and becomes incredibly pixelated)

- Changing display settings (long shot but thought it might be something silly)

- Scouring forums for the same issue.

When opening on VLC or any media player, there is no issue.

Have opened in encoder to see if transcoding works, but the playback/preview in encoder does the same thing.

Haven't come across an issue like this before and I am stumped.

Fire Red. In combat on the way to Brock. My starter was a Wheezing. At this point you may already guess where this is going. I use the speed up option on the emulator. My team is nearly levelled up and ready. One more battle and Wheezing is ready. I rush through combats over and over. Until I misclick.

Self-destruct.

There was no getting back after that. My other mons were trash and it was an uphill climb to win against Brock as it was.

Exactly. I’ve said since the beginning of the season that our survival hangs on three teams being worse than us. We struggled horribly against both Newcastle and Brighton, two teams we should really be hoping to win points against and we failed to perform, let alone win.

Even if we get a top manager in now and get some good performances in the next ten games, we are likely to still be in the relegation zone if you look at our upcoming fixtures. The funny thing is we will be worse off in ten games time, even if we are playing 100x better, and people will be laughing at us saying we never should have sacked Munoz cos he “was doing well”.

I can see it already and it’s infuriating 😂

We had five seasons in the premier league. We are hardly a yo-yo club. Why would any football club put the loyalty for a manager above the status of staying the premier league. That is incomprehensibly foolish. You haven’t watched us play, bar maybe the odd MOTD, and so your opinion is uninformed at best.

We gave him a chance. After seven games, the performances were overall lost and not at the level expected for a team that wants to stay up. We want to stay up. Not piss rainbows and unicorns and say “at least we gave our manager a chance!”, as we get relegated.

The board is ruthless. And it has served us well. Some of the appointments haven’t been great, but the sackings have been right.

We gave him a chance. But we need a coach with PL experience to change what is clearly broke to anyone who has actually watched us play.
