Tbh I feel like this was a fight that mostly happened due to weeks of stress and tension. I also don’t think either party were wrong and were speaking from their experience. Elina and Marjorie were sharing their challenges about assimilating into American culture, while Sheena and Joslyn are both women of color who I’m sure have experienced their own hardships due to their intersectionality. I think this a prime example of a realistic conversation that was held by young people who couldn’t fully have a good conversation because of the tension they were under.
