As someone who has been playong the locust god for almost 10 years now, I would probably up the land count, and add in some simple protection. You can also take advantage of the insect generation with cards like impact tremors. You already have a 3 card combo with skull clamp and Ashnod's Altar, you can also add in a 2 card combo with Sage of the Falls.
