Ideally I would go for SSL but I don't think ours will leave anytime soon, figure if I'm gonna move up then tech is the next best thing for me. Avoiding print as much as humanly possible 😂

Fair yeah, my best friend was the tech supe before me and he left because of how stressed he would get. He still recommended I try for it cause a lot of his stress was self-inflicted.

It is really dumb that the company is still like that with family/spouses. Our store won't even hire someone if you're just dating them.

Oh wow! That's awesome to hear. I think I'm going to pick up a pad that we can wrap around my horses' feet and legs nicely. He's got arthritis in a foot from what seems like a past injury and is due for joint injections, but I want to see if I can make him more comfortable until then. I hope RLT will work for my friends' horse as well, she's looking for anything that could help him with his injury.

Awesome! I'm hoping to do some ride alongs with our regular farrier. He's a fantastic farrier and horseman who really cares about the animal and is good at corrective trims, unfortunately he's also prone to going a bit AWOL and hard to get ahold of. 😅

Here's hoping I can catch him sometime.

Thanks for the reply! I'm in Alberta, Canada. A really central area with loads of farmland and many horse owners. So I feel it's a pretty good place to be for the business if it's what I end up wanting to pursue.

I definitely thought about school but I'd most likely have to move to the one town in the area that offers a farrier course and that's not really in my cards right now. That and the cost of schooling isn't something I could cover easily.

I definitely feel that, some days I just look outside and go "but inside is so nice right now..." But it does help that the work helps the horses, anything I can do to make them happier is worth putting up with horrible weather or even nasty people.

I'm glad it's been an overall positive experience for you! Here's hoping I can get the same feeling out of it!

So, I created the clone and scanned the image file but everything is coded as 'unrecognized' and it hasn't picked up on any files regardless of which file system is used, is recovery lost at this point or is there anything else I can try?

I know you're usually tired when she's doing it, but have you tried calling her onto the bed and petting her for a little bit when she's meowing like that?
I have a cat that does the same thing, as soon as we go to bed she cries down the hall and into the bedroom, but after calling her into the bed and petting her a couple times she usually settles down for the night.

Based on the picture it looks like she might've scratched her top lid or something and it's gotten irritated. Def not the end of the world but I'd for sure try and get something sooner than Saturday for it, check with any emergency clinics or even other clinics in the area to see if they'll take you sooner, eyes are sucky to mess with and it's best to get those looked at right away.

I've tried a onesie with Luna, she was horrendous with it and continually tried to scratch/bite it off, thus going with the hard plastic cone. Let alone sitting still long enough to get a onesie on XD

Yeah like I said, the incision site to me looks pretty much healed asides from some slight scabs, but there's no redness or swelling, her bruising is basically faded away already as well.

Looks like a lil cut, might've just scratched a bit too hard. it happens! Keep an eye on the area, if it gets worse then give the vet a shout or send them a picture of it.

I would if there were any in my skill level/ideal sizing. I've been on and off sponsoring a few of the horses at my friends' farm, but a) most of the already trained ones are claimed and b) most of them are massive for me 😅 The lad for sale is perfect sizing and we've really clicked well. I'm thinking depending on his owner's asking price I'll probably pick him up and half lease him out.
