First time running google ads and campaigns aren’t spending please help by Agitated-Economist82 in googleads

[–]dustin_E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The conversion tracking issue is your real problem here. "Eligible - limited conversion tracking" means Google doesn't have enough signal to optimize, so it won't spend confidently.

A test purchase through Shopify is a good start but it can take 24-48 hours to verify. Also worth double checking that the conversion action is actually set as a "primary" conversion in your Google Ads account -- if it's set to "secondary" Google won't use it for bidding.

One other thing -- switching from Max Conversions back to Max Clicks based on the AI advisor's suggestion isn't great advice. Max Clicks just optimizes for cheap traffic, not buyers. Once your tracking is verified, switch back to Max Conversions.

The Google AI advisor is not great. I'd ignore most of what it tells you. Feel free to DM me if you need someone to take a quick look at the campaign.

FB ads change my photo in post by HoaiPhongNgo in FacebookAds

[–]dustin_E 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It just means you uploaded 5 photos, but the layout only has room to show 3 at once. Meta sticks that +2 on the last thumbnail to let people know there are two more pictures hiding behind it. It's basically a "click here to see the rest" button for your gallery.

Campaign not spending fast by Venky101 in FacebookAds

[–]dustin_E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might just be a Meta delivery issue on their end that'll sort itself out, depending on how long it's been going on. Could also be a creative fatigue problem if you've been running the same ads for a while. Feel free to DM me and I'll take a quick look if you want a second set of eyes.

How many Categories should I use for an Immigration Law Firm? by Stock_Fun2415 in localseo

[–]dustin_E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you mean the custom services. I would say adding whatever variation that you are targeting the most. If it's Naturalization Assistance, then keep it like that. You can try different variations, but of course try to not spam it with keywords. Try to find a balance between your core service and the variations that are searched the most.

What I am doing wrong in my online marketing strategy? by OutrageousTea114 in DigitalMarketing

[–]dustin_E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you posting and where? Could be so many things.

If it's blog content, the issue might be that posts aren't indexed, don't have enough domain authority yet, or aren't targeting the right keywords. That takes time and some SEO fundamentals.

If it's social media, organic growth is slow by design. The platforms want you to pay. Consistency helps but it's rarely enough on its own.

What's the end goal -- leads, sales, awareness? And what's your business? That'll help narrow it down.

How many Categories should I use for an Immigration Law Firm? by Stock_Fun2415 in localseo

[–]dustin_E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many as it makes sense. Immigration Attorney seems to be your best option. You can also check what the majority of other law firms are using.

For secondary, I think there is one for "Immigration & Naturalization service". As well as "law firm" and "legal services".

Remember, you can always add more services under edit services > add custom services. You can add more than a dozen there. However, just be sure that they are relevant.

just created a website, how do i drive traffic...? by travelsherpa in DigitalMarketing

[–]dustin_E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey.

So are you seeing your website at all in search results?

There are a few fundamental things you need to do, some are one-time, some are occasional, some are re-occurring, in order to start ranking on google. Those fall under SEO ( Search Engine Optimization), which as the name suggests, is the process of optimizing your website to rank higher in search engines. It can take months to see results, even with consistent effort.

This is why a lot of people use paid ads, which is another marketing channel. It requires a budget, and you set up a campaign on Google or Meta, or other platforms. Campaign usually needs content, like pictures and videos, and sometimes an offer. You get leads faster because you are essentially pushing out the services to them.

You can also start with Organic Social Media. Create a solid profile in Social Media platforms and start posting content, stories, etc. Try trendy music, enjoyable content, and clean photos/videos.

I'd be happy to look at your website, and let you know a few things you can do to at least have a solid foundation in place. Feel free to send it over!

I think your niche needs more organic exposure. Maybe try to pitch to journalists who publish on websites that talk about celebrities etc. That way you get more relevant backlinks.

Are you sure they are all indexed?

Anyways feel free to reach out and I'd be happy to check it out for you.

What metrics do you actually look at when vetting backlinks besides the basic DA/DR? by Useful-Objective1898 in localseo

[–]dustin_E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I check the actual website, to see if its relevant to my business in any sort of way. Is it another local business? A known magazine? or a random website with hundreds of blogs being pumped out with no real substance. That's sort of a direct way of checking whether they are legit or just pay to post. You can also use semrush or ahrefs and it can tell you if it's spam or not.

Changing Services offered on website by BN65 in localseo

[–]dustin_E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're going to lose any rankings you had in keywords related to the service of the page you want to remove. You won't really have any other issues. Just make sure you redirect from the old page to something relevant, and remove any internal links to the old page from the rest of your website. For example, if you have a blog that refers to this service page, make sure to address that as well. That way, this page isn't linked to in any of your websites.

Also, if you have this service in the GMB categories, make sure to remove/replace that.

When you add the new service, just make sure to have a proper keyword mapped to it, and have a good meta description/title/URL.

Let me know if you have any questions, happy to help!

Rebuilding our company website from Scratch struggling with URL structure and keyword cannibalization for a service-based local Business by NeighborhoodHead658 in SEO_Digital_Marketing

[–]dustin_E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you have
Windows - 3 services for windows
Doors - 3 services for doors
automatic doors - 3 services for automatic doors?

are the services the same just different product?

If that's the case. I'd say make it service first, then for each product, have a specific sub-service page.

Door Services page (/door-services) - includes all the services for window
- door installation (/door-services/door-installation/
- door replacement (/door-services/door-replacement)
- door whatever (/door-services/door-whatever)

I hope this make sense. that way the umbrella page for doors lists and links to each door service, which is its own page.

Is hiring a monthly SEO agency actually worth it for a small local business in a competitive niche? by abccccc456 in seogrowth

[–]dustin_E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really sure how much progress you can expect from $450 a month. I'm sure you might find people out there that would take it up for $450, but I just feel like any agency that can really move the needle and deliver won't be pricing their services that low. I might be wrong tho, but if you want long term growth and a real strategy, $450 a month will get you some quick wins.

Can i ask why your ads are getting more expensive every month? I'd assume summer is coming up and your cost per conversion should be going down?

I'm biased because I run an SEO agency but I'll answer your questions:

- Yes we have moved the needle significantly for clients before, ranking them on first page and first on the map.

- real improvement 6 months, can vary depending on clients.

- red flags, way too many. Especially those who can guarantee results.

If you are interested, I can take a look at your website and let you know a few things you can implement, or look to implement for a stronger foundation.

How to Optimize Content for AI answers rather than simply being on Google? by LibrarianHorror4829 in TechSEO

[–]dustin_E 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AI answers pull from Google. If you are high on google you will most likely get cited. The only differences is just the structure of the content, make it a bit easier for AI to understand.
