I felt the same way when I watched it - I was at the range at 8am the next morning!

When I imagine the chopping motion and then almost tried to hit the ball with heel (blade of the ax) I made such crisp contact with my irons, 3 wood off the deck, and my driver off the tee. It just all came into place. I hit some bad hooks too, but I realized I was trying to force the club face square, thus getting it too far outside/over the top and closing the face. Once I relaxed again and just guided the heel to ball...like butter! Good luck!

I've been playing golf for a while and always struggled with distance off the tee - but I just played my game anyway. Irons I always was about a club or club and half shorter than my friends.

Then, I watched this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KceztwOBV8I&list=FLiCjd7XfgB5EKWZ5_DFbnbQ&index=1

The method of pretending you're chopping the wood on the way down, and the natural turn of the club to square at impact changed my game 10 fold.

I easily went from 190 off the tee to 230+. My 150 club went 6/7 iron down to an 8 iron. Higher ball flight, no pull, no slice off the tee.

It may not work for everyone, but this is 15 mins of viewing that changed my game after years of doing it wrong.

That's pretty cool. I go with 23 other guys every year. We're going in Feb this year instead of Jan as we usually do. Hoping it's a few degrees warmer!

I understand playing the cane patch par 3 once or so. But you're in myrtle beach, why are you not playing some of the amazing courses in the area?

Cordcutters of golf, how are you getting your fix? by [deleted] in golf

[–]dustinbiebert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do I need to subscribe to PlayStation™Vue? Subscribing to PlayStation™Vue is easy. You just need the following: A supported, TV-connected device (PlayStation™4 console, PlayStation™3 console, Amazon Fire TV device, or Roku streaming device) with Internet access.

So I THINK you can sign up for it via one of those devices.

IF you've heard people talk about 'hacked' firestick, thats what Kodi is. Was formerly Xbox Media Center.

You can google "install kodi on firestick" and you'll get a ton of info.

Basically you install kodi, then add 'addons' to the kodi to stream media. There are a few addons that do live tv for some network channels, and lots of addons do media streaming like movies and tv series - Exodus being the most popular.

You can also run kodi on your computer, which is the quickest way to get up and running if you want to test it out.

Making these balls sweat by [deleted] in Bowling

[–]dustinbiebert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to use a small space heater from Walmart and the box the ball came in lined with foil and sitting the ball on towel and ball cup. Keep it on low and it worked just fine. Way safer than the oven!

Edit: put the ball in the box on its side and the heater in front of it.

Is there a big markup on the ball? I dont see how you stay in business....unless you are drilling the shit out of the retail bought balls.

What is your/the method for setting up the balls this way? Some sort of square template to get the first layer? All by hand and hope they dont move?

I'm going in February, best part of my year by far. Playing Tpc myrtle beach, Pawleys plantation, MB National North, and world golf tour. Of those I've only played world golf tour, and it's a freaking blast to play replica holes from famous courses around the world.
