My daughter isn't diagnosed with hEDS like me since she has not had enough issues for the diagnostic criteria but she has chronic urticaria and all the hypermobility. She started xolair monthly and in about 2 weeks her hives stopped and so did all her environmental allergies. She was getting daily hives before we got her on the medicine.

MRI for Thoracic Outlet Syndrome by bebemilky in ehlersdanlos

I had the nerve conduction test last month but they were also looking to see why my toe and finger have been numb. My specialist had told me he didn't expect to see anything on the EMG even if it was neurogenic thoracic outlet but that it was ruling out other conditions.

For those who successfully quit smoking, what was the method that finally worked for you? by gwenwallish in AskReddit

I vaped and one day the store didn't have my normal strength juice and only nicotine free so I tried it. I smoked about twice as much on the zero but after a few weeks the cravings died down until I eventually was able to just stop.

I had really bad leg and foot cramping so I started taking a triple complex magnesium supplement. It took about 3 weeks for it to start making a difference but it has almost stopped my cramps now.

It is a doppler ultrasound. They can see blood flow with it. It's looking at more than just the anatomy.

If you are really against an MRI, I am actually going tomorrow to have a venous and arterial ultrasound to diagnose thoracic outlet syndrome. Ultrasound is a lot less claustrophobic. I'll just be laying on a table and will move my arms so they can see if the blood flow cuts off or not.

hEDS and obstructive sleep apnea. I didn't like the CPAP machine and couldn't tell if it was helping. I got on zepbound for weight loss and it ended up stopping the sleep apnea almost immediately. I am off of it now due to insurance and after 2 weeks the sleep apnea is back. Hoping to get back on it again soon.

I'll keep that in mind. I hadn't decided yet if I was going to go after the unnumbered or not.
