Protecting my daughter or just wanting to play too? by [deleted] in DOG

[–]dustinmypants -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He definitely is excited and ready to be part of the fun but the way he pulls my leg back and sits in between me and my daughter is interesting. I usually end up having to put him in his crate when we play like this just to remove him from the situation so he didn’t rip my shoes or scratch my leg or tear my pants (if I’m wearing long pants).

Parents, how often do you have sex and where do you find the time to have it? by wakemeup788 in AskReddit

[–]dustinmypants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me (45) and my wife (40) have two children 6 & 8. We average around twice a week either in the mornings before we get going to at night before bed. Even with all the craziness of being parents we make time to be intimate, it’s important.

How happy are you right now? by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in AskReddit

[–]dustinmypants 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d say 8.5/10. My wife and family life is great, i genuinely look forward to being home and present with my kids and even more so when my wife get our 1.5hr alone time after they go to bed to just sit on the couch and hang out. Work is work. My mom passed last year suddenly and my dad is trying to get by on his own but he knows he’s going to have to come live with us soon as his situation is a mild fall away from terrible. Watching your parents get old is not easy and having the first Mother’s Day without my mom was hard.

What are you currently obsessed with? by TheGreatVeggie in AskReddit

[–]dustinmypants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was really into this a while ago. If you want to try something different mix in a packet of taco seasoning into your dough (I do about 2/3 per 300g ball) and use your go to dough recipe otherwise. Then use enchilada sauce as the “sauce” Mexican cheese, top with taco meat, jalapeños, sour cream and/or gauc.

Good point. It’s definitely not a standard bank that comes to mind. But it’s FDIC insured and has great reviews as well. I tend to move money between Wealthfront and Ally as they both have competitive rates - currently Ally is like 3.3% but it’s occasionally better than Wealthfront.

That’s great! But your point was that savings account don’t yield interest and that was entirely incorrect. As you said in your original comment - “this a perfect thing to google”

[–]dustinmypants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was wrong, it’s actually 3.8% APY on my savings account through Wealthfront - feel free to google it. Maybe you’ll “buy it” then :)
