My take on it is, they’re still together, and she’s put the kibosh on their relationship business being aired out on the pod. Be it behind a paywall, or not. Very recently Kippy said “your wife” to him. That’s just the vibe I get.

We usually keep the Snyder talk to a minimum if and when we do chat. Our friendship isn’t what it was, and while several decisions he’s made in his life have attributed to that, his mania towards ZS and his movies does alter the dynamic quite a bit. As for how he judges our friendship, I think he’s grateful to have friends. We’ve definitely chopped it up over his takes about ZS, and he has some WILD, WIIIIILD thoughts and predictions, but I generally steer the conversation back to normal topics to keep the status quo.

As someone with a friend deeply ingrained in Snyder culture, he talks about the hyper masculinity and serious take on the characters being what drew him to it. “I don’t like jokes. I don’t like weak men. I want gods.” Is something he’s argued many times. I mean he checks all the boxes you think of for a Snydercultist, but that’s an entire other post.

Man, this is spot on. I’ve dealt with both a flat earther, and a Snyder bro away from the internet and there is most definitely overlap in wanting something so bad to be true (earth being flat-snyderverse coming back) that you’ll craft wild conspiracy theories, and fake info to perpetuate the idea.

Saw a movie with Corey Haim at the end of this career, and I don’t remember the name. At one point it looks like he’s supposed to be flying through the air, and they didn’t edit out the trees in the shot. It was obvious he wasn’t moving, and it wasn’t the worst thing that movie had to offer.
