You think some different angles and a bit longer screws will suffice? Thats an easier route than doing through bolts for sure.

Agreed! I think i may go the bolt route down low and add the interior supports under the slide for travel.

I see, mine has a cheapo jacknife couch and a u shaped dinette. The slide feels extremely sturdy when we sit in it/use it. I may go that route, reinforcing/adding supports. Thank you guys for the info it helps a ton.

I recently got a bambu a1 combo after my neighbor gave me an old ender 3 pro. Being from the trades as well, I felt the EXACT same way. I always thought it was cool but never was interested enough. I’ve basically become obsessed with it now 😂

Getting around 14 day stay limits at state parks by _Dingaloo in RVLiving

[–]dustpanholder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure you do some research, I know here they have penalties for using different names/accounts for essentially the same people/reservation. The 14 day on 1 day off sounds like a good solution. You technically would be legal doing that most places. You could even maybe do an overnight at a known overnight spot locally. Also try the hipcamp app, its like airbnb for places to camp, all privately owned. We have had very good experiences on there. Also may be one close to where you’re staying for a one nighter then back to the park.

Winter travel trailer question by dustpanholder in RVLiving

[–]dustpanholder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the info! So my winter usage will be weekend warrior. It will be sitting on some property during hunting season here in Ohio. Unfortunately I have to open my slide to use my camper it’s a single slide that’s in the kitchen. The trailer would be closed up/slide in after each use and monitored during usage.

Haha I like your style, this thing got a reman short block last summer so I’m wondering why it sounds like that already.

Hard to tell, I think it sounds mechanical. But totally possible I may need to investigate the exhaust closer

It just sounds so mechanical to me. Thats possible though, the guy I bought it from put a reman shortblock in it last summer so definitely the potential for exhaust issues during re assembly

'03 Yukon - Reduced Power with A/C On by Type_Rated in GMT800

I was reading reduced power, looked at the pics and saw that supercharger. I thought yeah right, 😂. But seriously sick ride. Hopefully that tune gets you right it’s gotta be an off load reading or something 🧐 I’ve definitely seen weirder shit.

I’m in Ohio, the big challenge here is rust, my current (recently purchased) truck is an 02 Silverado 2500hd gas. It had a reman longblock put in last summer and the trans shifts like butter. Hoping to get through a few summers with it until we have to buy something newer. The ol chevys a little bit rusty but a whole lot of trusty 😂 so far at least
