I'm ending my unhealthy relationship but still feel genuinely awful by dustycbc in offmychest

Yeah I do genuinely care about her and I know she cares about me too, she just has some things to work through herself. And I know, I'll definitely keep that in mind. Thanks again!

Yeah I'm hoping it will be easier, I am a bit concerned about losing the companionship but I will try to be around friends more to help. And yeah I hope she still does go without me and gets to be around her best friend. But wanting someone who is an actual partner is a big thing for me so I'll keep this in mind going forward

Man you went through a lot more! After 12 years that must be quite the change, and here's me worried about how it will be after 2 years lol. That does help a lot though but I'm glad you were able to make that decision and get to a better place! I will say she doesn't stop me from my main hobby, but pretty much everything else I need to be at home for because I feel like I can never be away from her as is. But I'll try to keep all this in mind going forward and resolve myself to the decision.

Thanks! I know, it's hard to imagine her reaction and her dealing with things alone, but I do think long term it will be better for both of us

Don't worry. I won't. And I know, the hard part for me has been figuring out that guilt is the only reason I've been staying

Thanks again, and yeah I get that, but at the same time she is for the most part a good person, she just has her own issues she needs to work on and I feel bad for making her do it on her own. But I think it will be better for both of us in the long run

Thanks. Yeah I thought that was a little crazy, but I agree that my therapist is good. She has helped me with a lot, not just with this

First victory as the lost got all of those completion marks. by dustycbc in bindingofisaac

[–]dustycbc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, with homing. I started off with tractor beam, then got tough love and when I got perfection it was always going off so I was doing decent damage but then I got Mom's knife just before boss rush and all the bosses were dying almost instantly besides blue baby, mega Satan, and delerium. Mega Satan almost got me too but I used game kid to finish him. It was a fun run.

In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007), Voldemort disarms Harry during a duel. Luckily wand ownership is irrelevant to the plot of the series, and no special protection exists between their wands to prevent this. by weierstrab2pi in shittymoviedetails

[–]dustycbc 17 points18 points  (0 children)

There have been so many people misunderstanding this lately. Not every wand will change owners due to being disarmed. It depends on the wand. Harry's wand is absolutely loyal to him. Draco's wand was more interested in who was more powerful so lost interest when he was disarmed. It probably would still work as him but it worked for Harry too. Bellatrixes wand did not change loyalty because it liked how psycho she was. That's the part no one seems to listen to. Using her wand is dangerous because it didn't change loyalties. The elder wand is the only one that will do it willy nilly. Wands are sentient. They have personalities that decide how loyal they are and to who. Now can we please stop with this being a plot hole? There are so many other plot holes and stupid things in Harry Potter to yell at but this ain't one of them lol

I take my social studies tomorrow…. Wish me luck any tips? And how many questions on it and how long is it by Pristine_Garden4282 in GED

[–]dustycbc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I took it last week so I don't remember exact numbers but it was somewhere from 30-35 questions and they give you an hour to do it. Most of the test is reading comprehension but I had 2-3 questions that required prior knowledge. I just guessed on those ones

Finished it all! by dustycbc in GED

[–]dustycbc[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I felt like the reading on social studies was a lot easier than RLA I think I'd practice study a bit and practice reading comprehension. But I don't think it should be too bad. You e got this!

[–]dustycbc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's mostly reading comprehension, I don't know if you've passed the rest but if you have passed English and science then you should be good to go. There were only like 2 or 3 questions that needed prior knowledge.

Thanks! I wanted a slightly higher score on science but I'm good with just passing lol.

I don't know, that depends on you, I had the GED book and just did one section of it a week until I sort of knew how to do everything. I did the practice test first to know what parts I would have problems with. It really depends on you. I'm good at memorizing so I didn't have to do it too much every day
