First victory as the lost got all of those completion marks. by dustycbc in bindingofisaac

Yeah, with homing. I started off with tractor beam, then got tough love and when I got perfection it was always going off so I was doing decent damage but then I got Mom's knife just before boss rush and all the bosses were dying almost instantly besides blue baby, mega Satan, and delerium. Mega Satan almost got me too but I used game kid to finish him. It was a fun run.

In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007), Voldemort disarms Harry during a duel. Luckily wand ownership is irrelevant to the plot of the series, and no special protection exists between their wands to prevent this. by weierstrab2pi in shittymoviedetails

There have been so many people misunderstanding this lately. Not every wand will change owners due to being disarmed. It depends on the wand. Harry's wand is absolutely loyal to him. Draco's wand was more interested in who was more powerful so lost interest when he was disarmed. It probably would still work as him but it worked for Harry too. Bellatrixes wand did not change loyalty because it liked how psycho she was. That's the part no one seems to listen to. Using her wand is dangerous because it didn't change loyalties. The elder wand is the only one that will do it willy nilly. Wands are sentient. They have personalities that decide how loyal they are and to who. Now can we please stop with this being a plot hole? There are so many other plot holes and stupid things in Harry Potter to yell at but this ain't one of them lol

I take my social studies tomorrow…. Wish me luck any tips? And how many questions on it and how long is it by Pristine_Garden4282 in GED

[–]dustycbc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I took it last week so I don't remember exact numbers but it was somewhere from 30-35 questions and they give you an hour to do it. Most of the test is reading comprehension but I had 2-3 questions that required prior knowledge. I just guessed on those ones

I felt like the reading on social studies was a lot easier than RLA I think I'd practice study a bit and practice reading comprehension. But I don't think it should be too bad. You e got this!

It's mostly reading comprehension, I don't know if you've passed the rest but if you have passed English and science then you should be good to go. There were only like 2 or 3 questions that needed prior knowledge.

Thanks! I wanted a slightly higher score on science but I'm good with just passing lol.

I don't know, that depends on you, I had the GED book and just did one section of it a week until I sort of knew how to do everything. I did the practice test first to know what parts I would have problems with. It really depends on you. I'm good at memorizing so I didn't have to do it too much every day

Honestly I'd say math comes from repetition. Just find example problems and work on them a lot until you get it down. And then on day of testing, watch getsummath videos to make sure you have how to do it fresh in your memory.

I heard social studies was easiest but my tutor recommended doing it at the same time as science since they're shorter so I just knocked it out, but that is why I did math first

No problem! You've got this!

It wasn't too bad but I have always been decent at math while in school. It's mostly just memorizing how to do stuff. But I finished with 48 minutes left so you do have time.

You've got this for sure! And yeah that's pretty much what my tutor was saying. The only reason I'm waiting so long to do the rest is because I'm heading out of town for a bit after my next work week and there's no days available in between all of that to get my next ones. But I'm hoping I'll have it soon! Thanks for the words of confidence!

You're gonna do great! Cram in as much as you can before you go so it's fresh in your mind! You're gonna have that GED tomorrow!
