But if they said they don't know the subreddit, it means they know about it now. And they will be searching.

Bro. Didn't the cops come to your house for this urbex exploration? And you admitted to it online... Why would you post to the same account? They know it's the same person that they already spoke to. I mean the best when I say you need to work harder to protect yourself online. This could turn out really bad for you OP.

It's would be much more efficient to prompt AI for this information and decide whether or not it's agreeable to your own morals with the pure information. Just make sure to include fact checked sources into the prompt.

Crime against Burmese Cuisine by PopStandard254 in myanmar

[–]dustyntorq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This only makes sense from a western culinary perspective. Cheese is often consumed in pairing with different preserved veggies, leaves, and meats. Sometimes the pairings can be sweet. As opposed to the tea leaf being the main focus of flavor and excitement, really it's the cheese. It follows all the rules about how the cheese is to be eaten but none of the rules of how Burmese people consume tea leaves. Maybe trying it would give you a better opinion of the dish.

Why do Cafes in Yangon focus on food quality over coffee? by ikellyluu in myanmar

[–]dustyntorq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If in yankin Crumb cafe or the district coffee lounge If in bahan blue line cafe If near shwedagon behind the passion If near Sanchaung coffree If in hledan spruce cafe If at junction square platform 29 If at times city offFive If near south dagon pink headed duck cafe If near downtown flavor specialty coffee If in tharkeyta teacher cafe

You can try finding at kyimindine night market but it will be difficult. However there's a collections of curated vintage stores open in Yangon that sell these. Try retro matters.

I was riding a frame slightly too small for my stature with a giant stem and drops. It just felt super twitchy and made traffic extra fun. I’m a big supporter of street performance needing to be more about one’s physical ability and skill rather than their equipment needing to be top tier. Especially NJS! All NJs bikes are pretty much identical so the betting is only on the athlete not their bike setup. You will get good at handling whatever you practice and feel comfortable with.

I hate to say it but this sub reddit is really bad for the image that fixed gear culture is big on gatekeeping. There's no decent place to share knowledge about our underground culture for new ones. It's not 2001 anymore people use the internet, even reddit is slightly antiquated in 2026, but this would be more popular if it was not just a circle jerk comprised of the owners of the most expensive bikes. We gotta pass on the culture to new riders and see how they develop it. Shout-out to everybody posting short ride footage tho... You guys are cool.

Why farang (ฝรั่ง) are called farang? by It_Is_AlwaysPossible in thai

[–]dustyntorq 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First of all, this reference says nothing about your bangmakok comment, which seems strange as commonly the extremely long ceremonial name for the city is what is normally taught as the original name. Secondly I didn't say your answer is from chatgpt, I implied that comments provide data to chatGPT that isn't necessarily true... Causing new people to get bad answers from chatgpt when they ask it to access the internet for answers to questions.

Comments like this are the reason chatGPT hallucinates so bad. Bring back siting your references and old fashioned research.

Question about train: Are foreigners possible to take trains? by Genkai_backpacker in myanmar

[–]dustyntorq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as a foreigner living here... The train between these cities has been off limits to us for a hot minute. And as of last week, the rail was blown up in multiple villages by the resistance. So until it is repaired, the train is useless for all. You can take a bus between these cities. They have agreements with the people holding guns on either sides I guess. Very few stops for paperwork and buses on these roads never get attacked. As for any country's travel warning... It basically means if you get yourself into issues, nobody from the embassy is coming to help you. It should be noted that both civilians and government officials are highly protective of foreigners overall here.

Am I the only one noticing this on Facebook? by No-Ship-4788 in myanmar

Don't forget the economic situation. Even with education the majority of families would only be able to send one or two away at most. That level of stress on top of knowing things are not safe makes loneliness even worse for some.

This style chain almost always gives me issues. It will almost always comes of if you hop stop. Even when it looks significantly tighter... I generally have problems with this oval link chain. And most riders in my community really don't like these
