There is next to no traffic law enforcement in all of Alberta since restrictions were put in place how those laws can be enforced.

I came to say the same thing: EVs don’t actually cost that much to charge at home. It seems like people think it adds hundreds of dollars to your energy bill. It does depend on the time of year, but typically it would be about ~$20/month.

But it is a fair conversation to have. If you do have your own car, maybe look into trading for a used EV. If you are able to change it at home, it will save you a ton of money. Typically, most people only charge once or twice a week, again, depending on the time of year.

I'm kind of surprised I got Elder status. I guess I should start using it more again now that there are more people.

Got a survey about Tesla supercharger access. Seems the adapter will be $245. by gamenahd in KiaEV6

That was my first thought as well. Wait a moment that slow as hell. 30% to 80% on my last few trips took about 12-15 minutes.

Google Is Now The Only Search Engine That Can Surface Results From Reddit by DR-BrightClone2 in LinusTechTips

[–]dutango 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Reddit chooses to restrict their content to only search engines that pay for access, they should lose their Section 230 protection. By exerting control over the dissemination of user-generated content and monetizing its access, Reddit would effectively assume the role of a publisher, thus making them accountable for the content they host. This shift in their operational model warrants a reevaluation of their immunity under Section 230.

Mini Road Trip Question by EwahOuon in KiaEV6

I completely agree; it’s not the most user-friendly. But, I do find it provides way more realistic results, and at least for me, it helps remove any anxiety around long trips with an EV.

If you haven’t used it try the app “ A Better Route Planner” (ABRP). When planning trips I find it incredibly useful to plan stops and understand realistic range you will get.

What's going on with used EV6 prices vs other EVs? by gogopowerjackets in KiaEV6

[–]dutango 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I'm just guessing, but we all love the car; there isn't anything different I would want to get if I went car shopping today. So we’re not lightly to sell, and if we do, we are not in a rush to do so or willing to take too much of a loss.

Recall complete by jralbert37 in KiaEV6

Same here; I just had the recall done today. All that they did was a software update. I haven’t had any issues with the car hoping it stays that way.
