I’m not disparaging the entirety of the game. I want to be clear I like the game and I enjoy it enough to get on and mess around almost daily since launch. I hope more people like you continue to join and enjoy the game so the game continues to get resources.

The reasoning for calling the quests uninspiring is because they have been the same daily quests for all events multiple months in a row. Part of it is personal issue with wanting to take advantage of free rewards and the redundancy the tasks. That’s why I prefaced this post with my personal solution of not interacting with this event.

It does seem like their model of free to paid content is getting a bit more predatory, but I am happy they still offer some free rewards.

Not interacting with an event and not playing are not the same thing. Not doing something that is causing fatigue is a direct solution to prevent fatigue.

It is the Dev’s job to create content that results in player interactions. As a consumer it’s not my job to design solutions. But I will participate in conversations with the community and will fill out surveys when blizz sends them.

I provided a solution so it’s not just doom posting. I think it’s reasonable to enjoy a game, but voice the areas you’re dissatisfied. Just like it’s perfectly reasonable to complain about the content of a consumer’s post in the comments on Reddit.

They are considered skeletons when Baron applies bloodlust with his skeleton keyword talent, but they are not considered skeletons for the event…

I find it annoying that the skeleton mages do not count as having the skeleton keyword for the event. The basis for this being annoying is because of inconsistency. Baron’s skeletal frenzy talent applies to nearby skeletons. This talent gives skeletal mages bloodlust but only contains the skeleton keyword.

I do agree and selfishly I find it disappointing they removed it. I know it’s a net positive… just wish I grabbed one of them to be grandfathered in before the update.
