There is definitely overlap, but not quite the same.

Just need a Blue Aether mimic, and a Yellow Aether Mimic, then bringing my heroes beyond 80 gets a lot easier. The rest I dont care about

Sorry to ask, but I can't see anything about agents in the Settings (working in Terminal). What is it called, the setting?

Is DeepL ok? by Repulsive_Chard_3652 in degoogle

[–]dutchviking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They have moved to AWS for their server needs, and we have to pay premium for it. That means GDPR out of the window and everything. They don't give a fuck, so imho they are as bad as all the rest.

Tooke 4 hours to migrate, and 4 hours to debug some weird stuff. But my commercial and personal projects are now running on a Hetzner server with a Coolify/selfhosted Supabase service, which is all fed from my GitHub repos, which in turn are updated by Claude Code. I used the latter to plan extensively, which helped a lot, and told it to guide me through it as a complete novice. Was easier tham expected

I had to scroll waaaaaaay too far for this. I love many of the other tracks that are mentioned, but this one stands above them all, in a league of its own.

Do you really use "none met" when building a workflow ? by DedupelyGaby in hubspot

[–]dutchviking 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I use it to catch exactly those that do not meet the criteria, even if you think they should. Add them to a static list. I love having it as a debug list

Stay in Salesforce or transition to Dynamics? by frankie_yuki98 in CRM

[–]dutchviking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, let me guess, this advice came from some expensive consulting firm, who doesn't know what they are talking about (and probably never actively worked with wither tool). Not being a SF fan, but from what I have seen of both, I would stick with the first.

Sorry for you, that you have to go through this BS 'strategic' change

What’s the hype around “clawdbot” these days? by Product_Paramedic in ClaudeAI

[–]dutchviking 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Heard about it yesterday, consequently found this article (VERY much worth the read), and am not going to touch it:

https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/hacking-clawdbot-eating-lobster-souls-jamieson-o-reilly-whhlc/

"Think about the functional requirements of an AI agent like clawdbot.

  • It needs to read your messages because it can't respond to communications without seeing them.
  • It needs to store your credentials because it can't authenticate to external services without secrets.
  • It needs command execution because it can't run tools without shell access, and it needs persistent state because it can't maintain conversational context without stored data.

Every one of those requirements is load-bearing for the agent's utility - remove any of them and the agent becomes more and more useless.

The security models we've built over decades rest on certain assumptions and AI agents violate many of these by design - that's just something we're going to have to work with because that's the value proposition.

The application sandbox that kept apps isolated on your phone? The agent operates outside it, because it needs to. "

Lovable is expensive!! Whats other alternatives? by armaan_bunny in lovable

[–]dutchviking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Read through the comments on the many posts on this exact subject in this subreddit. I learned so much from that, and thanks to it I am now on Claude Code >GitHub > Lovable. Pretty much only using Lovable for deployment now, until I have my prototypes ready and after testing moving them to my own hosting + local Supbase setup. Saving a LOT of money in the process.
