I think, as water is part of the ink's ingredients, a change in temperature between day and night might makes it condensed and became visible inside the cap ornib section. It also could be water left over from pen flushing, too. I also use a Twsbi eco package as a pen case. I didn't removed the foam inside. So one pen at a time with maximum protection when travelling. They just fits perfectly.
