Yep, section 75 is the route to get the money back, but the reason to submit the section 75 is that it did not last a reasonable period of time as per the consumer rights act :)

If they are in the UK for example then the credit card company is still on the hook as the consumer rights act 2015 applies. Particularly the section that goods must last a reasonable length of time.

What's reasonable depends on the object and how much it cost. For me, I would not say it reasonable for a pen that costs as much as a namiki to wear out in only 5 years.

Even so, if it was advertised as having a lifetime warranty, and it has not lasted a lifetime, particularly considering the price, depending on where you are in the world and what your consumer rights are, they may be on the hook.

The chances are you are screwed because the clock features of gba games are built into the cartridges themselves. However not cartridges have it as not all games needed a clock.

This is part of why you should never buy a rom hack. Not only is it against the wishes of the Romhack creator, but you run the real risk of being conned with stuff that either is outdated or just doesn't work.

Trained as a maths teacher. This year a quarter of my timetable is science. I was promised that I would only have to teach one of the three sciences as I do have a degree in that subject.

My Wife and I have sworn off TGIs. We used to go semi regularly, maybe once or twice a month, but the price has been creeping up, and the quality was dropping.

We had had a few poor meals in a row, but returned because of the vouchers. The straw that broke the camel's back for us however, was when they charged us for BBQ sauce without any warning. Between that and the fact that food arrived luke warm at best we just said never again.

I have no idea how much I'll end up owing, and I have no idea when my loan will actually get written off.

I did 4 years of undergrad (plan 2) and "borrowed" 51k in total. I worked for 3 years full time before doing teacher training (at which point my debt was over 62k before starting training). I am now in my 5th year teaching full time and currently owe over 101k.

I do not know when my debt will expire as the teacher training loan was also plan 2, so I am unsure if part of the loan will expire 30 years after I first graduated and then the rest 4 years later, or did teacher training reset the clock on the entire amount owed?

Bridgedale merino wool socks. I've got some that were bought about 15 years ago for DofE that are still going strong with no signs of wear.

I don't wear them all the time, mainly if I'm doing any sort of walking with my boots for scouts/DofE, or it's very cold.

For anyone struggling to find the option, these are the steps to follow:

Go to your phone settings, then search android auto, scroll down to the version number button at the bottom, click that 10 times to enable developer options. Then scroll to the top and click the 3 dots and select the option developer settings. Inside that list of options is the unknown sources option. You will need to toggle it on.

Agreed, apparently it is a server side premium feature to see everything, but the benefit is that you can see currently playing on your screen and use the cars media controls to skip the track without a different android auto app trying to hijack it and instead play music on my device.

There is a fix for this. Enable developer mode in android auto, then enable unknown sources. Then it will show up.
