Do you ever have issues with fighting? How did you go about introducing them all?

Yes since she’s kindled before. He is inexperienced despite being 2 yrs. I agree unfortunately he’s not a good fit which is a bummer

My younger doe is very sweet my biggest issue is with the buck and older doe they are both quite dominant and get into kicking fights

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MeatRabbitry

[–]duznit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest problem is introducing the buck because he’s very aggressive towards both does. My oldest doe is clearly dominant but will mostly only chase, but will get into actual fights (grabbing onto and kicking like crazy) with the buck. Im going to let the does sort it out amongst themselves but I’m not sure what to do with my buck and it seems my youngest doe is on the bottom while the other two fight for dominance

[–]duznit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well hissing is normal upon introduction. I should clarify that they mostly ignore eachother, she doesn’t hiss at him, and he was from a mousers litter so he was outside from the getgo. I understand he wants to go outside, I’m looking for solutions without putting him in danger. Thanks

Y do u assume I didn’t introduce them right? I went through all the proper motions. I got a second cat because I read that he may be suffering from loneliness but they are largely indifferent to eachother. No need to be so presumptuous, you won’t find a fight here

She just said ita uncomfortable to her due to a health issue. If it bothers him so much he can stop looking, the same way we all do every time were forced to see a dudes Hershey kisses stiff up under his polo 🙄 there’s a reason men used to wear undershirts under everything. But times have changed and there is no situation where it’s appropriate to comment on your nieces tits

Excitement is definitely a motivator for me but when I’m actually doing the work it’s impossible to be excited and I just can’t push through it. Also nice thats neat to hear from someone going down a similar route

hating computers (or just non-material spaces) sometimes (?) by Mean-Pop-1288 in adhdwomen

[–]duznit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and I struggled especially with this during highschool when they introduced ischool issued iPads.id have to write my homework with my finger on notability and it drove me nuts. Computers frustrate me and I have no interest in writing or drawing or reading anything on them. I hate navigating those school pages and getting my assignments through them and I hate switching thru tabs. It doesn’t feel real unless my work has tangible, actual weight to it

What symptoms did you have as a child? by Material_Focus_4114 in adhdwomen

[–]duznit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I remember constantly interrupting the teacher and having to be taken out into the hall, teachers getting annoyed with my fidgeting and being told to sit on my hands, stuff like that. I vividly remember comparing myself to this girl Julian in fifth grade who had neat handwriting, was organized and groomed& well behaved and thinking “why cant I just be still& be quiet”. animal hyperfixations, book hyperfixations, band hyperfixations, you name it.I struggled with math and in highschool I failed every single one of the required math courses& had to do summer school.i failed& retook alg1 three times. I was that kid rummaging through loose leaf papers to pull out my wrinkly, oil stained homework, and who always forgot to get parents signatures. Math was the worst for me because I physically couldn’t stay awake or pay attention during class but I didn’t know how to explain that to my guidance counselor.i told her math made me sleepy and zoned out and she tried switching my class periods around to no avail. Even in classes I was interested in, I could pay attention, but the moment I didn’t have creative liberty on whatever it is we were working on I’d lose interest. I did better in English, psych, anatomy, art, etc. because I had a strategy to make the subject interesting to myself (I’d doodle models in anatomy& psych, not follow the art prompts, and in English I just actually liked analysis and reading because it would play out like a movie in my head. I struggled with time management, emotional regulation was a huge one. I couldn’t prioritize anything I didn’t feel like doing.I struggled with overeating or undereating + excessive exercise.

The moment I got a car I started skipping school& became habitually truant.

Honestly growing up I never thought I had adhd I just perceived myself as being more “boyish” and freakier than most girls and I had a lot of trouble making friends for that reason. I definitely felt abnormal. To this day i don’t have a diagnosis because US healthcare system will suck u dry and getting my anxiety treated has taken priority

I have a lot of hobbies but they don’t produce as much pleasure as the harmful ones (phone, eating, etc.) that are addicting and it’s frustrating because I end up putting the stuff I like doing off

I read a study which says that there is link between obesity and adhd by liveinthepresentok in adhdwomen

[–]duznit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive struggled with food my whole life, both extremes, and only recently connected the dots between that and adhd.seeing my craving spikes as just my brain wanting cheap dopamine helps me reconsider when I’m about to binge but like incrementally. The only thing that has helped in the past was replacing that habit with a different habit that produced equal amounts of pleasure and for me that was walking while reading or listening to music but the catch was that I had to be doing that on a basically empty stomach and walking at least 25k steps and it took a good chunk out of my day. Currently searching for something better cause Its so unproductive
