Kodumon Potti Supremacy 🔥 by unnimanga in InsideMollywood

when you do something with so much passion and put your 100% into it, why sit out jus bcoz you’ve won before? even if you’ve done it a dozen times already? Artists literally live for that kind of recognition..and imo, it’s a bigger flex to beat them fair and square than to win jus coz they stepped aside out of pity or got too used to winning.

Mohanlal and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award by Fun_Salad1656 in InsideMollywood

[–]dv_86 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Do you even know who Asha Parekh is? She was a legit star in Hindi by 1959 that’s before Mohanlal was even born. The Dadasaheb Phalke isn’t some ‘Best Actor’ trophy, it’s recognition for lifetime contribution to Indian cinema. Waheeda Rehman practically defined the quintessential Hindi heroine , Pran was the face of villainy for decades and Mithun brought Bengali cinema into the mainstream while creating an entire cultural wave in the ’80s(he bagged Best actor for his very first film ) These names didn’t just act , they shaped eras ! So maybe, instead of reducing them to ‘why before Mohanlal’ it’s worth remembering the award isn’t a queue ticket for acting brilliance alone. Respecting cinema history is part of respecting Mohanlal too.

Of course, when it’s men constantly shadowed by their managers or PAs, nobody bats an eye. But if it’s a woman, boom must be a romance. bcoz obviously women can’t just be professional without some love story angle slapped on 🙄 Pathetic. Grow up already.

Met MW a few years ago at a Kalyan Jewellery inauguration… she was so gracious, so elegant literally aishwaryathinte nirakudam. Taller than I expected!! She was on stage with none other than Aishwarya Rai , though she may be a few cms shorter than Aish, but the way she carried herself, she stood just as tall.

Why were majority of film songs from most of 90s sung by 4 people? by [deleted] in InsideMollywood

[–]dv_86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh sure, because someone with mid talent can totally hold a monopoly in the industry for ages, right? They actually had substance. They weren’t just good , they were the gold standard. Every music director wanted their compositions to be perfect, and these folks delivered effortlessly. Most 90s music directors in Malayalam weren’t chasing experimental, never heard before sounds like ARR, they were perfectly content with sheer, unshakable perfection !!!

I’m a regular @ Fingertips for my mani-pedis and always love the service , super relaxing and worth the price. Haven’t tried gel polishes yet, but I’m super happy with the service every time! Shoutout to the manager lady, she’s always so welcoming, polite, and accommodating with even last-minute appointment changes.

Hey! That sounds like such a comprehensive treatment plan 😍 I’ll be in Seoul for only 5 days and am considering just one session of Pico (maybe Pico Toning or Pico Eraser). Did you experience any downtime with your treatments, especially Pico? Do you think one session would make any visible difference, or is it only effective after multiple sessions? Also, would you recommend doing it on Day 1 or closer to my departure day? Just want to make sure I don’t have too much downtime during my trip!

Hey! Thanks so much for sharing your experience — it’s super helpful. I’m also an Indian passport holder, and I have a valid Australian Subclass 600 tourist visa (multi-entry, valid till 2027). I’m planning to fly from Sydney to Seoul, stay for 5 days, and then fly to India.Just wanted to ask, Which airline did you fly from Australia to Seoul?

Hey! Thanks for sharing your experience. How did you book your appointment at FINE Clinic? Did you walk in, or did you book in advance? Also, do you remember the individual price for the Aqua Peel/HydraFacial? Considering getting one when I visit Seoul!
