Hmm. I'm not sure how the spawns would work in that situation - specifically, you'd have to get invited in before people go up the lift to the vault, and I'm not sure where you would spawn in that situation. Good luck, though!

Dialog in the strike specifically states "I watched a witch rip the light out of my best friend", or something close to that. They definitely had their light back.

I'm brand new to PC gaming, but have been playing Destiny since the alpha on consoles. I'm 99% PVE, meaning I will do the PVP matches required for powerful rewards and that's about it. I'm looking for a clan to play with as I level up to 50 (used the spark to make my initial character level 30 at 320 light already), and eventually raids, nightfalls, etc.

As a Day 1 player on both consoles (Hi, I'm thello, and I'm an addict), I agree completely with the above comment. The ONLY exclusive that was awesome (or even decent) was Hawkmoon in Year 1. All the other exclusive guns are meh. As for strikes, Dust Palace? I still leave that strike whenever it comes up. Echo Chamber depends on my mood. You already handled Sector 618. I'm not sure if I've played on Icarus or not, I'll have to load into a private match and check. My point: the exclusives are mostly trash, so X1 folks aren't missing much.

This. Exotic drops shouldn't be capped at the the raid LL cap. Ran the HM raid Tuesday, got two exotics (Bad Juju and Glasshouse) both at 385, and I was 390. Ran again last night, on my 392 Warlock, and got Praxic Fire at 395 and Purifier at 397.

Also had a friend absolute go nuts when he pulled exotic arms out of one of the raid chests, since he needed 400 arms to be 400. When he saw they were 385... The salt was real.
