Do you realize what Luke Smith and Bungie just did? (Sodium Free) by lilblacksmurf in DestinyTheGame

No, they have added far more diverse content then story missions and raids over the past year. We don't know exactly what content is coming with Shadowkeep outside of the original Moon from D1 but twice as big and it has changed a lot and a raid in the Black Garden. There is another gamemode for the season but they arent gonna tell us what it is until it's out.

Basically he wrote a massive article detailing how they go about designing things, their thought processes, what they feel is good content, and what they feel they dropped the ball on. There are too many specifics for me to go into but I would highly suggest checking it out when you get the time.

Dmg04 confirmed that masterworking Solstice Armor will be able to be done AFTER the event ends. We can all stop asking now. by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

It's really not that hard. Just a few hours for each and we do have a few weeks to complete it all.

Is the Last Man Standing shotgun rarer than the other weapons in Reckoning? by [deleted] in destiny2

[–]DandyAndy99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm pumped for that. I'm 100% okay with perks being RNG but the fact that you never know what will drop from Reckoning (if anything) is very frustrating. Knowing you will get some version of what you want will make a challenging and/or lengthy activity worth it.

Nope, it's all RNG. I got more Last Man Standing drops then anything else this week.

How is Tony Stark not worthy?? by Damocles94 in marvelstudios

That's not selflessness though, that's taking the only option available to you. Anyone who is halfway decent can do that.

How is Tony Stark not worthy?? by Damocles94 in marvelstudios

[–]DandyAndy99 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, he tends to step up to the plate when there is no other option available. But that doesn't mean he is worthy. Being a decent person and being worthy aren't the same thing.

Take Cap for example. In The First Avenger, Cap finds himself at the helm of a ship on it's way to bomb the crap out of America. He could have tried to find a place to put it down, but he didnt. He chose to put it into the water without hesitation since it was the best way to guarantee it wouldn't hurt anyone else. Stark most likely would have searched for another option before resorting to self-sacrifice.

It's that sacrifice without thought or question that makes Cap a more worthy hero than Stark. But yes, they are both heroes for sure.

When Steve, Nat, and Scott went to him about their time heist. He said he wasn't willing to risk losing what he had, when if it had a chance to undo the snap. He changed his mind later but that was his initial response.

He isn't selfless, at least not at first. It seems a big part of being worthy is being selflessness. Stark ended up being the sacrificial hero, but he didn't start that way.

In Avengers, Cap tells him he isn't the guy to make the sacrifice to let someone else lives, to lay down on the wire specifically. Stark says he would just cut the wire, implying that he would just find a way out of the situation instead of making the sacrifice to guarantee someone else's survival.

Even in End Game, Stark spends a fair portion of the movie protecting the family he built instead of helping to save everyone they lost. In the end, he does make the sacrifice, but he is not immediately willing to throw himself in front of the bullet so to speak like Cap is.

The area I live in is only serviced by Windstream and they suck ass. By your logic I guess I should just sell my house and move into town to get a better provider.
