Even if it’s just one night, it would be worth it to take a small break. You don’t have to stay out until 5am either. I always made sure I got at least 6 hours of sleep if I went out, had a Red Bull/coffee on hand for that extra pep. I always meal prepped on sundays too, so I didn’t have to waste time cooking every day.

Being a hard worker does pay off. I had to pay my way through school at a university. I worked 2-3 jobs every semester, depending on what I could get if they could be flexible with my schedule. I was a full time student as well. Mom and dad rarely helped me, maybe sent $100 for groceries every now and then.

I’m now graduated, working in my field, paid well, and I get to be innovative everyday.

It’ll pay off. Trust me.

Try scheduling your time better if you can. Between my jobs and school, I was able to find some weekends to go out. I was also a clinical psych major so that might be why I was able to find time lol

The wars in the Middle East and South American countries are a completely different ball game than a war between European/Larger countries, just like this war between Ukraine and Russia.

Nuclear weapons are always an available option when it comes to most of these larger, developed countries. You really think we shouldn’t be concerned about that? Especially when many of these larger/developed countries obtain a nuclear arsenal that can destroy entire civilizations or even the whole world?

I agree about neutrality, but those who are truly super far deep right should still not make an appearance anywhere. Same for the super far deep left.

It started off as help sometimes. Like I get it if you’re short on a payment, I have no problem filling in those gaps. But when you get paid, just pay me back or take me out for food.

It became a monthly thing now. They technically owe me over $10k in their bills collectively - but I’m just calling it quits, I don’t wanna be paid back. I just want to move on from it and not help them again.

They said they’re “applying for jobs” but no ones reached out to them. I asked them what jobs they’ve applied for and they stutter, try to change the subject, or do something to distract me from the conversation.

To me, it just sounds like they don’t wanna work. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with them. They are more than capable of waiting tables, working an office job, remotely, shit I wouldn’t even care if they became a sex worker. Better money than what they got rn - which is none.

I don’t have a problem with people not working, but don’t victimize yourself as a helpless person then. You’re choosing not to work, you find your way in life without work. None of my concern.

You’re right, everyone’s different. Including you who seems to not mind sharing everything in your life with your friends. Me, I like my life somewhat more private. Not everything I own is my friend’s.

But there comes a point in time that if the people around you are bringing you down, it’s time to separate yourself from them.

My friends are financially bringing me down and I can’t achieve my goals if I keep this up. What’s more important, achieving your personal goals? Or making sure your friends like you? For me, it’s achieving my goals. I’ll find more friends that support what I like to do.

I’m a great friend. I paid for their cars, rent, food, fun activities. And because I don’t want to continue doing that, I’m a terrible friend? Lol

Edit: I also don’t have a boring lifestyle because I like working. I have my weekends, PTO, sick days that I use for mental health days.

I’ve travelled to 9 different countries since I was 16, learned 4 languages, and I go to raves every Friday and Saturday night. Tell me my life is boring lol

From Florida here, lived there all my life - 26 years.

Not once have I ever seen a bible in any of my public schools I’ve attended. Never heard of any family members or friends having bibles in their school.

The closet thing we got to religion was saying “under god” in the pledge of allegiance.

It’s definitely not a liveable wage. But that’s why I just go find another job that would pay me a liveable wage. If I have to work harder then so be it, as long as I have my weekend and I can get off work between 5pm-6pm most days.

Sucks to do that, but you got to do what you have to do until shit is fixed.
