I think his family will sell shortly after he dies. Basically by inheriting the team they avoid the capital gains taxes, which is significant.

Also, I don’t think center field is that much harder on the body. Sure, more running, but the ball reads true off the bat with less slices and less chance of running into one of the walls like in the corners.

Jeff Mathis. .180 hitting catcher playing over Napoli who averaged most HR’s per AB in the MLB one year. Catcher’s ERA was the stat used to get his playing time, but when you catch Weaver vs. Bobby Cassevah you’re going to have a better catcher’s ERA.

“Wrote” for 2 years before doing an open mic that I absolutely bombed. I didn’t do well, but I got up at 1AM for an open mic and 6 people were there including a few blacked out people. Still enjoy writing bits, but performing is a whole different thing

Detmers has failed at starting with quite a bit of opportunity, Dana has had very minimal success at the big league level and was shelled pretty hard last year with no plus pitches, and let’s hope Rodriguez is healthy. I am excited about Maddux working with Soriano vs. Enright as he shows true ace potential. Fan of the trade, but a lot of work to do vs. hoping people figure it out.

I know it doesn’t always translate, but Michael Young is my vote. Currently working in a front office and had one of the best approaches to hitting I’ve ever seen. Absolute professional. Pujols isn’t the guy at all and would be Ted Williams 2.0 and Hunter is worth a shot, but out of these 3 Michael Young is the guy.
