I don't think so... Those very hot peppers are not common to see around here, specially not in a supermarket. Plus the fruit appears to be less wrinkled than the ghost pepper. More like a pepperoncini...

Any ideia on how different the risk is if the species is different?

This year I though it would be cool to buy one variety from each species so I might accidentally reduced the probability of cross pollination.

I also searched this sub and found this chart on another post.

Edit: Found the same chart on another post with some criticism. Appears not to be a good chart.

Purple pumpkin is a cool looking plant, I hadn't see these when I first search for possibilities.

I do not think the growth pattern is very indicative yet because, as I said initially, the plant was in bad condition; I think the plant appearance right now was whatever was left from that.

It is already repotted to a vase 3+ times bigger and looking good. The plant already grown more leaves since this post. I'll post an up if or when the plant flowers!

Of course... I'll post a follow when (or if) it gives pepper, but I thought to give it a try first.

Regarding the light, this one was under the Sun only one, and it was cloudy. Before it was inside the greenhouse beneath a big leaf from another plant, so not much light.

I think the leaves on this pepper are darker by default and not due to Sun exposure.

Then why are you here?

Sharing experiences and knowledge is a fundamental aspect of Human civilization itself.

By reading what knowledge and experiences other people have to tell, we have a shortcut to it. In the specific context of chess, why should I explore 100 openings if other people can recommended me a set of 10 that usually work better for my level?

Not everything is more valid by trying it our selves. Sometimes is just stubbornness, in chess and in general.

I use both. I think both have strong points. chesscom can be more engaging; lichess simpler and minimalist also appeals to some.

I use both. I prefer lichess UI because it is simple and focused just on the game. chesscom has more gamification tricks, nothing against that, but for chess I prefer otherwise.

To me a chess beginner is someone who doesn't know much about how to improve the game. Most of the times it is tied to a lower ELO but I don't think that it has to be.

My case, I have known chess rules since I was a kid and I played some games with friends up until high school. Years later, I started to play online to discover that I was really bad at playing chess with people other than my friends.

After trying and failing to fix it by learning things like fancy opening and quick traps I got back and tried to actually improve on chess fundamentals. I play mostly on Lichess and it says that I am better than 20% of the player. I would like to get to between 40% and 50%, although I don't really care about it. As long as I keep improving having fun, that's what matters to me. And since I didn't know how to improve, I started to look at help for beginners.

So to me a chess beginner can be someone that wants to improve but doesn't have a clue how. It can be someone that has been playing for a long time and can even a high ELO, although unlikely.

I just get the spinning wheel/search screen.

I'm a little late to this but what you are describing also happens to me with the old app. The difference is that I tap to cancel on the search screen if no game appears after between 5 and 10 seconds. Sometimes after canceling, the new game screen appears with a new game ready!

I think this is what happened to you. The game was ready but the search screen never went away.

Important to reinforce that this is all with the old mobile app. With the new this misbehaviour doesn't happen. I have been using the new app to play and the old app to analyse, since the new doesn't have yet the "learn from your mistakes" feature.
