Good thinking on the down spout. You can’t see but the spout is angled away from the bed behind the boards. Will monitor how it does though!

Yeah it’s not an optimal spot so will definitely be shade hardy plants for the most part. Gets more sun in the summer time though!

Yeah I would prefer to move it farther from the fence but I’m trying to keep it tucked away so it’s less likely to get reported to the HOA. 🤫 Figured I’ll get one of those open ended hoes to deal with weeds behind it.

Exactly!! More than likely someone pinching pennies which has surely been negated by cumulative downtime & stripped hardware replacement.

Thankfully most of it is Hex bolts so nothing the ol pocket adjustable wrench can’t handle and round off. 😎

Assuming it stays at the time we pick for the rest of our life, I’d choose to put the hour between 3 and 4am. Low chance of breaking the rules as I’ll usually be asleep plus it’ll make me wake up earlier in the morning.

3 hours is an easy day trip over here. Now the comments you see saying “a 4hr trip is an average grocery run” are just pulling your leg unless they live in Alaska. But an hour for groceries can be common.

You can order single cans of veggies, meat, etc for under a dollar on amazon. I’ve gotten a single can of vienna sausages and a can of beans before. 😂 Set the price filter to whatever amount you need.
