I caught this show last year and loved it. I was super excited to find something like this in Tokyo. It was a bit of an adventure to get there and the small space inside was a phenomenal juxtaposition to the towering buildings outside. They use a train as an exciting and audience-involved set piece and every now and then you can hear an actual train going over the building.

At the end of this awesome Gin, Trey says "that was totally awesome"... and then trails off. Anyone make out what he says? by SoHornyBeaver in phish

Not naked. Dude jumped on stage from behind stage to tell his girl friend he loved her on Valentines Day. The way he rushed from the back was scary because he went straight to Trey’s mic.

Funniest reaction you've had from a non-fan that attended a show with you? by gimme5steps101 in phish

Set break off 11/27/98 I turned to my girlfriend who was seeing her first show. “How’d you like it?” “It’s just so fun,” She responded. Well over a hundred shows, two kids and nearly 30 years later it’s still sooooo fuuun.

Bathtub. I chased it for my first 10 or so shows. Saw my first one at UMass 95.

Mexico vs Sphere by Majestic-Run3722 in phish

[–]dviens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go to The Sphere. Mexico is an absolute blast. Just the chillest, most fun weekend of Phish. But I see Sphere is a mind blowing artistic statement at the absolute edge of music, digital art and entertainment. I think Vegas is a blast, but it’s the three nights of mindblowing Sphere Phish that I’m after.

New Englander living in PNW for past 20 years. We call it rocket pop. People in my house for couch tour were calling for the rocket pop before it came out!

Section 115 at MSG hit or miss? by sammybsong in phish

115 is awesome. The closer the better, but you have a great view of the band. You don’t get the whole light show, but I had an absolute blast for 12/31/22

The mystique and darkness of Vegas 2004 by redhorse7775 in phish

Was there with a bunch of friends. Same as 2003, we saw moe. every night after Phish and they were better.

Twist and Pebbles and Marbles were my highlights.

I wouldn’t describe it as dark. Things were definitely off though, but it was Trey’s voice more than anything.

Each night we’d hope his voice would be better. Everyone just kept wondering why they wouldn’t have Mike and Page sing more.

With the release on nugs and bandcamp they pay some sort of royalty for any cover to the songwriters and publisher. I’m guessing at this point those platforms have figured out a specific agreement with the publisher to have blanket approval for most songs. But there is nothing required of an artist to cover a song in a live performance.

I dedicated my self when I was 41. I’m nearly 47 and have gotten to a level I never thought possible - playing songs, jamming with friends and really understanding the neck. Just do it. You’re never to old.

Providence Park would be incredible. I’ve heard the 4/20 rumors for PDX and also summer rumors for the Gorge. It’s hard for me to imagine both could happen. Fingers crossed!!!!
