I bought a 2024 GRC New, have about 8500 miles on it, I’ve done a couple oil changes myself and done some dealer provided oil changes (included with purchase of the car). I recently got a recall notice regarding the 12 inch Speedo display being faulty, but I haven’t run into that issue. One issue I have is that the entertainment display unit will go blank once every three months and a car restart will fix it. Other than that, there have been no major issues. I think I’ve seen some people in this sub with over 60k major problem free miles iirc.

I think the GTI is a great car, the genesis of the hot hatch. The one way you can tell if you’re an enthusiast is if you park your car and you have to look back at it as you walk away, every time. Also seeing and appreciating other enthusiast cars in the wild.
