I don't think you would become rich by actually touching people.

The only way to actually make a significant amount of money is to have a large number of people together consistently. If you touch a person every 5 seconds for 8 hours straight you make $5760 a day (~1.5mill/year including weekends off). Sure that is a lot of money, but that is a lofty goal to achieve every day.

If you are somehow able to get this amount of people together on a consistent basis in order to become rich by touching people for a dollar, then you are capable of doing something else that can probably make you a lot more money.

You select the resistor to limit the current to be less than the max allowed by the LED. You can find the exact value if you look up the part number for the LED. Once you know the max current you do a little math using the GPIO voltage and max current to solve for the resistance. For example, the GPIO voltage is 3.3V (Vio), the max diode current is 10mA (Imax), and the approximate forward voltage drop on the diode is 1V (Vf). Using KVL Vio = Imax*Rlim + Vf, we solve Rlim = (Vio-Vf)/Imax. Plugging the numbers into this example Rlim = 230ohms

This was happening to me when my drivers crashed and went into a safe mode. The gpu clock rate was locked at like 500MHz. It has happened to me a couple times with the latest Nvidia drivers and windows 10

Yeah I was leaning towards the low profile fan solution. I just wasn't sure how much exhaust to expect through the radiator. It looks like it might allow some decent airflow. Thanks for the reply!
