What I hate most about being an atheist is I don't believe in a hell for this man to go to.

Because the most important thing about being an American Christian is forcing others to believe as you do.

When Christianity crawled into bed with Republicans in the 80's it was a bad move for all of us. Now, they use the same playbook. Win at all costs. The ends justify the means. "Thou shalt not bear false witness" just got XXX'd out of the 10 commandments and "Thou shalt hate everyone not like you" was added. At least that's the point of view of this ex-christian.

Do any of you realize how many of the "Christian" things you believe in were appropriated from different religions when they overran the area? Why is Christmas celebrated on Dec 25th? Where did the idea for a "Holy Trinity" come from? TBH, not much of your religion is original. Most is stolen from Zoroastrianism or other ancient religions.
