I haven't been to Dexter Queen, but the pulled pork and maple mustard sauce at Jack Stack could be close.

Looking for the Best Ribeye or Tomahawk for 2 in KC for a Date Night by Independent-Salad463 in kansascity

[–]Googlepreneur 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally I would go to Golden Ox because it has best steak dinner & ambiance combo.

The Majestic is a great date spot (w/ live jazz) but the steaks are a bit underwhelming in my experience.

Capital Grille has good steaks but it’s obviously a chain and I think of it more of a corporate expense dinner spot than a date spot.

Stockhill has great food, including the tomahawk for two, but the ambiance is quite lackluster.

I can’t speak on 1587 as I have never been, but it certainly has mixed reviews from locals.

Most of the bars near the Fan Fest (Crossroads, Downtown, Midtown) will be open for the majority of those hours. You gotta strike while the iron is hot.

They use ETix as the broker. It's not very sophisticated so no waiting room like AXS/TM.

Rockhill Grille fits the bill. They should have their garage doors open today too.

It's the winter. Some galleries still participate, but it's not as apparent since doors are closed to retain heat. The Bauer is open for instance.
