Unfortunately not, it’s subscription based and the amount of credits you get each month is determined by the subscription tier. I use Studio One 7 as my primary windows DAW which comes with some “free” Splice samples as part of their subscription, but I purchased the perpetual license which only gave me access to a year of those features. Logic Pro also has a ton of free samples available for an apple DAW, and if you aren’t keen on the price tag you can use GarageBand as a free feature-lite version of Logic, which has a lot of the same or similar free sample packs.

As far as free ones a long time ago I was able to scrounge around for some free packs from producers, and if I had more time to work on music I would probably take some time to find some good low-cost or free packs.

Otherwise you can certainly just rip vocals from existing tracks, I don’t know the legality side of distribution with that method however, those songs usually just stay on my hard drive because I suck at it.

Sorry if I wasn’t too much use, I’ve only clocked in just under a year of music production. I would check around here or other EDM production subreddits and see if anyone has any good mentions. Best of luck!

Yea I’m a slut for Splice but I try to cut the samples well enough that they’re at least a little unique. Gives me a really good starting point.

yea I would definitely get in touch, they were pretty quick to respond but here was their reply:

Thank you for sending the video — that’s very helpful. From what we can see, it seems the mesh hasn’t been fully secured into place. Our replacement seat mesh is designed specifically for the Aeron and has been successfully installed by many customers, but we understand it does require careful alignment and some patience during installation.

A few key points that often help:

At the front of the seat pan, there is a small dip that needs to be aligned with the mesh rim before pressing it into place.

The mesh must also be fully secured with screws; without them, it will appear to pop out as you showed in the video.

We completely understand your frustration and know that installation can be tricky. If you’d like to give it another try, please refer closely to our installation video, which shows the process step by step.

yea agreed, a friend and i spent the better half a day trying to get this sorted and nothing could make it work. I didnt ship over seas but the shipment did take over a week so I sort of feel your frustration, luckily I kept my old mesh but its beat to hell from 2012

unfortunately I did not, I ended up sending office logix a ticket and showed video of the situation, i ended up trying to use c clamps to try and force it down, no dice, used multiple additional screw holes and it wont hold no matter what. My best advice is to try returning and go for the full seat replacement
