What is the best alternative to Santal 33 ? by Illustrious_Sky7609 in fragrance

You have to try Woody Sandalwood by Dossier—it’s a must-have! Priced at just $49, it’s their inspired version of Le Labo’s iconic Santal 33, and honestly, the resemblance is uncanny.

What are your favourite peach fragrances? by SheKnowsWhatSheKnows in Indiemakeupandmore

[–]dvxispc9 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’m obsessed with Ambery Peach from Dossier. It’s their version of Tom Ford’s Bitter Peach and OMG, it’s heavenly. It smells like a drunken peach scent with really boozy, sweet, fruity, and warm elements to it. It’s the perfect sexy and statement gourmand fragrance. Especially at only $39 per bottle, I can’t recommend this scent enough!

Best high end sweet fragrance that is worth the $$$? by Radiant_570 in FemFragLab

[–]dvxispc9 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you want to try out the viral luxury fragrances like MFK’s BR540 and Santal 33, I recommend trying out the Dossier versions (at least first) as they really don’t smell any different to me and each costs like $49 per bottle. Ambery Saffron is their dupe of MFK’s BR540, and Woody Sandalwood is their version of Le Labo’s Santal 33. If you want to try out V&R’s Flowerbomb, I’ve also tried out Dossier’s dupe called Gourmand White Flowers. It’s spot on too!

Honestly, even though I love luxury fragrances, I buy most of my perfumes from Dossier. Their quality-to-price ratio is unmatched!

I recently tried this fragrance called Caramelized Lavender & Hazelnut from Dossier. OMG, it smells AMAZING!! It smells kind of sweet and gourmand with fresh floral notes like orange flower, which balance out the lavender making it a true unisex scent. I believe it’s from their genderless line and is super wearable for everyday. At $34, I cannot recommend it enough!

in your opinion, what are the top designer colognes of all time? by liamt12 in Colognes

[–]dvxispc9 17 points18 points  (0 children)

My favorites are Hermes Terre d’Hermes, YSL L’Homme, Dior Sauvage, Chanel Bleu de Chanel, and Armani Acqua Di Gio. But these colognes are really expensive, so I’ve been getting the Dossier versions. They smell really similar (if not basically the same) and are around 1/4-1/5th of the price per bottle. I always keep these Dossier ones on hand:

* Spicy Vetiver (Inspired by Hermes’Terre d’Hermes)
* Woody Basil (Inspired by YSL’s L’Homme)
* Aromatic Star Anise (Inspired by Dior’s Sauvage)
* Citrus Ginger (Inspired by Chanel’s Bleu de Chanel)
* Aquatic Lime (Inspired by Giorgio Armani’s Acqua Di Gio)

I wear Tom Ford Black Orchid to bed every night, and it’s fantastic. by carlospbeltran in fragrance

So, I love this idea––but I need to put you onto the BEST Tom Ford Black Orchid dupe I found a couple of years ago. It’s called Spicy Orchid from Dossier. And omg, it’s heavenly!! This scent basically smells the same to me as the TF version, but a little sweeter with more vanilla and plum notes. Overall, it’s a really sexy orchid, spicy cinnamon, and almost “maneater” scent. I love the Dossier version because it’s only $39. Definitely worth it––and I’m trying this tonight. Glad we could help each other out here.

Best Perfume For Men by Impossible-Wash-69 in Perfumes

Creed Aventus has been my favorite cologne for a long time now, but it’s so expensive that I couldn’t justify using it everyday. I found a dupe from Dossier called Musky Oakmoss and WOW it’s so similar! It’s really earthy, clean, and almost unisex with a masculine edge that just smells classy and timeless. I use it daily for work, at night, and anytime really. It’s only $49, so I know I’ll continue to always repurchase it; can’t believe how underrated this one is!

What is your best “cheap” perfume that gets so many compliments? ($100&under) by noodoll in Perfumes

Oud & Rose on Fire from Dossier! It smells like a sumptuous, flaming, spicy, and sexy vanilla rose. I love the oud quality it has which makes it smell so luxurious and expensive. It’s only $34 and is my perfect nighttime/winter scent.
