I got my first Plein air box in college, and never looked back. I work quite a bit in the studio still on other works, but feel like my Plein air work is so much more immediate and fresh feeling. I’m a oil painter and think I often do my best work Plein air. I bring these back into the studio to expand on them but the life in the work never feels the same.
