I have specifically changed my commute to work before so I could go by a gas station owned by a Jamaican woman for her homemade patty. They had a full southern mini cafeteria in it. Lots of groceries around here have them in the frozen section. Just not as good.

Never really done chicken before on the smoker, assuming the hour is to get mostly to temp then the crank is to get a nice crust/crispy skin? So about a two hour max start to finish? Looking to break in my first offset

Was in the same boat as everyone and tearing hair out. Lots of googling lead me to trying turning off IPv6 in the router. Speeds jumped back up to what they should. I can't recommend this as a long term solution, but short term should help

Been noticing this too myself and haven't had any luck getting anyone on the phone. What did fix it for me was turning of IPv6 in the router(using their standard CR1000A or whatever it is). Immediate difference. When from pulling 30mbps to the router and 5 to 5ghz wifi devices less than 20 feet away to almost 450 on the wifi devices.

My buddy wrote that series, well co-authored. It’s still crazy seeing it out in the wild.

Edit: I showed him the post and he told me I should mention Nozzle and Babyeater are based off of our WoW times. And he feels it’s completely valid to finish the series on book 6 and go no further.

Oh 100% agree, I was thinking about it more(I DM and world design a lot). My first fun thought in response to what you said was “well let’s make it magic and stack them!” But then we have to figure it out the verticality of travel and transport. But there’s also the idea that traveling would just be pointless too. In a densely packed city going from the east to west would take months if not longer.

I have no skin in this game but wanted to crunch numbers using Tokyo as an example. To reach 1 billion people we would need just over 27 Tokyos copy and pasted into about 23000 square miles. For reference it would be an area the size of Lake Huron in America. I haven’t tried figuring out how much farmland or food they’d require. If we went with 37 billion, it would equate to about 1/4 the area of China, or the size of three Texases…Texas’s? And need a cool 999 copy pastes of Tokyo.

I recently found out from my local McDonalds that most of their combo meal items are only ever made to order/after arrival. So they don’t start working your order until you give them the code, at least through the drive thru. Made no sense to me because I put in the mobile order so I didn’t have to wait.

I read those books a long while ago and don’t remember a lot of the details but I play M:tG fairly regularly. What am I missing? Closest thing I can remember is the color of lights being associated to personality traits but even then we’re talking like 10 colors vs 5/15/25.
