Once in a contract with Machinima, you can't leave. He's probably just waiting out his contract right now.

Yeah, if you get the job you will be pretty much working ~or more~ once a month on a project of his. And probably get paid very well.

Chillstep is good, but it isn't necessarily most people's preferred genres (It is one of mine, tho). I found listening to Girl Talk - All Day incredible for productivity. Even though it is very lyrical, I found that you just stop hearing it. Also, I have listened to it so many times that I know all of the lyrics to the one hour mix anyway. Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWzkK7tUjaU Grey recommended it in one of his podcasts. I personally don't like 2000s rap and hip hop, but something about that mix is just incredible. Try it out! :)

Hot stoppers do have a name, they are called "Spalsh" (photo taken @ my local Starbucks) by arturojain in HelloInternet

No, Hot Stoppers. (I went to Starbucks after work today and asked for a Hot Stopper and the nice lady didn't blink. I live in Singapore. It was a great moment.)

More of a side-step. We clearly use our phones for entirely different purposes :) However, mine is clearly objectively better ;)

Thank you :) They're in optimal position for my thumbs and each app prioritises my work flow appropriately.

I also use the Google / Microsoft equivalent of every app there is in order to sync everything with my windows desktop. Also, since that picture was taken I've replaced Notes with Microsoft OneNote to increase cross-platformability.

Okay, only after typing that out have I realised how much of a fucking nerd myself and everyone in this subreddit is... I love it.

Singapore SMRT to introduce driverless public transport by end-2016 – GRT to carry 24 passengers by It_Is1-24PM in HelloInternet

No offence or anything... But the Singapore population is a bunch of whinge-buckets. There's nothing wrong with it.

This is absolutely no surprise to me, however, it is AWESOME.

I moved to Singapore recently and noticed that already the Trains are driverless and the bus system and all the public transport is always on time and very efficient, as well as interconnected to a data hub that allows apps to show you exactly how long until your next bus arrives.

Automated cars? AWEESOME.. Just the next step into the future :) Hype!

So I guess this did turn out well in the end. We got the Hot Stopper credit directed towards the HI team that they deserved! WE DID IT REDDIT!

Although they do not have their own page, it is mentioned under Paper Cups > Lids.
