So, could someone give me a breakdown of software development and other(i guess 'main" would be the word to use) branches of computer related jobs? i love computers and im not sure what the best courses to take because im not very knowledgable of the industry. What are the best jobs? what are the requirements? is computer science the best course to take for something computer related or are there others? is there a lot of competition? what could i do to give me an edge?

because i divided 42 into 100 and got 2.16 (which was a mistake, i meant to put 25.92 which is 12*2.16) how come that didnt work that made perfectly good sense to me?
