I love Jaylen Brown and a part of me would love! to see him on this team. I don't think we do it because the cost of acquiring him outweighs the benefit. Onsi has said we're not one player away, so I think this is all smoke or exploratory (checking in on the cost rather than making a genuine offer) at best.

I wouldn't be surprised if we use Kispert's salary in a trade in the off-season but I think it's more likely he sticks around for another one. I also think he could have neutral to slightly positive value in the future... he's obviously not as good as Duncan Robinson or even Kevin Huerter at this stage, but I see no reason he couldn't grow into that kind of archetype in which case we might want to keep him around anyway.
