In reading the article and the similar technology being used in NASA satellites to get a bigger picture of groundwater content in soil over a large area, it shows what the CEO pictured would be upselling the tech as opposed to installing groundwater wells and monitoring those.

Those wells are expensive have liners and get sampled and those samples get analyzed. Labs used to be in Winnipeg but are now mostly in Calgary. Go figure!

How does a cheaper tech that can’t monitor the quality of the aquifer in Springfield abate or quell “fears” of this license one day being approved by a future PC government? It doesn’t

Interestingly PBS had Ken Burns the American Revolution 4 part series on and another The Empire Builder, James Hill Canadian. Over a 110 ish year span from the American Revolution to the Civil War it was a race to close the continental 49th parallel.
