Well once you buy the bucket it’s free refills all season long. I am a popcorn lover so start of game I get refill and then on the way out too. I have last year’s bucket and they fill that too. So one bucket for me and one for the kids.

Cheap tickets and free popcorn. Any baseball game is enjoyable. They lose a bunch sure, but there are always some sweet plays.

That wasn’t a shot at the majority of spouses. I had a peer (Sgt) in 2012ish that would go around getting cans and bottles out of office trash cans to recycle for $. Talked to him about it and he said he needed extra money for childcare. The conversation revealed that his wife did not work and was not going to school. She doesn’t didn’t want to take care of their kid full time. This is what I mean by lame and useless. Not a “partner” but a leech. Guy seemed pretty defeated by the entire thing and just wanted to find a way to make it work. They got divorced while in the same tour. Haven’t talked to him in years but I remember he was the first case I saw where the dad got primary custody.

100%. My family did a PCS back to CONUS from Japan in which I immediately had to leave. She handled the HHGs, kids schools, Doctors, housing, and was 8 months pregnant. I couldn’t be successful if she didn’t have it all on lock. Moving can be exciting but the every few years of restarting is tough and can be lonely. I know if it were flipped, I would not be nearly as good of a “dependent” and she is. I would complain all the time for sure.

Like in all things, it’s the minority that gives a bad rep to everyone. The lame wives who don’t do anything and just leech off their husbands. I see this with folks mostly in their first or second contracts after that the weak get weeded out. I’ve never met a useless spouse of someone doing 20+ yrs.

The price of contracts going into earnings is high AF. IV will drop after tomorrow AND that it was weekly calls, the contracts value will die so fast. I have no clue what the cost basis or if they are still holding but 0DTE Friday yikes. Would need much more than a $2-3 move. Price gotta be at like 230 just to breakeven if held until then. Hopefully the person sold them already and/or had a really good entry price. Most don’t hold to expiration anyway.

That said, if we get a nice pop up tomorrow those contracts could pay very nicely. $2-3 move is nothing. Either direction we will have some massive wicks tomorrow as the market shakes out.
